Su facebook uno sotto il post di Msi delle RTX 3000 ha scritto "meglio aspettare con questo problema dei condensatori.

Anche gigabyte, ha detto che il problema non era hardware e che la qualitá dei loro componenti superano di gran lunga le specifiche minime indicate da nvidia

Per quanto riguarda amazon, mi stupisco che non sia ancora capitato come con le 2xxx, con annunci farsa di schede a prezzo ribassato, evidentemente stavolta hanno vigilato più attentamente

Mi pare ovvio che i produttori daranno colpa a nvidia, e nvidia ai produttori. Per me la verità è nel mezzo, le specifiche minime di nvidia erano sbagliate, e i produttori che hanno usato il minimo indispensabile comunque hanno sbagliato abbassando troppo la qualità senza accurati test per accorgersi della stabilità (o meglio i test li hanno fatti, ma i driver per i produttori erano una pre release che permetteva di far girare solo furmark quindi non potevano accorgersene facilmente)

é uscita una review di gamer nexus, non sembrano male le gigabyte, limitate in oc al max, come tutte.

In response to the recent reports speculating that the use of POSCAP capacitors on the GeForce RTX 3080/3090 graphics cards could lead to stability issues and crashes, we would like to clarify the issue with the following statement:

1. It is false that POSCAP capacitors independently could cause a hardware crash. Whether a graphics card is stable or not requires a comprehensive evaluation of the overall circuit and power delivery design, not just the difference in capacitor types. POSCAPs and MLCCs have different characteristics and uses, thus it is not true to assert that one capacitor type is better than the other.

2. The GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 30 graphics cards are designed in accordance with NVIDIA specifications, and have passed all required testing, thus the product quality is guaranteed. GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3080/3090 GAMING OC and EAGLE OC series graphics cards use high-quality, low-ESR 470uF SP-CAP capacitors, which meet the specifications set by NVIDIA and provide a total capacity of 2820u in terms of GPU core power, higher than the industry’s average. The cost of SP-CAP capacitors is not lower than that of MLCCs. GIGABYTE values product integrity highly and definitely does not reduce costs by using cheap materials.

NVIDIA has released a driver (version 456.55) on September 29, 2020 that improves stability. Users are advised to update to the latest driver for optimized performance. For users who encounter power-related issues with GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards, GIGABYTE will provide product replacement, free of charge.

GIGABYTE has been constantly improving and optimizing product quality, especially in terms of thermal designs, to provide the best gaming experience to the consumers for decades. Diciamo che la verità sta nel mezzo per i condensatori non hanno mai detto aperatmente che sia loro la causa, ma vista anche la reazione di alcuni produttori qualcosina di vero c'è, altriemtni non sarebbe stato necessario un cambio di setup avvenuto per alcuni anche prima della commercializzazione

Era ovvio che alla fine la soluzione sarebbe arrivata via software (l'ho detto fin dall'inizio) ma qui parliamo di frequenze di boost, quindi mettere condensatori come gli MLCC aiuta nella stabilità sulle alte freqeunze

Diciamo che sono due facce della stessa medaglia e due verità, i tempi molto stretti non hanno dato modo di testare a fondo le schede, i driver devono essere messi a punto, i primi esemplari di chip magari non hanno un binning chissa che, non esiste solo una causa

Ho messo in vendita la mia rtx2070 XC ultra garanzia Amazon su eBay.
Sto ricevendo tante proposte dai 250/300..
Le sto rifiutando perché nn posso stare 2 mesi s nza scheda anche perché da domani gioco a fifa 21..
Purtroppo però quei soldi non li prenderò più tra qualche mese...
Pensavo che avrei recuperato prima una 3080

Tendo ad aver più fiducia in asus che è intervenuta decidendo di modificare l'hardware, evidentemente reputando insufficienti o poco affidabili i condensatori da specifiche

Magari asus aveva questo problema. Gigabyte no. Ora non è che una scheda grafica è composta solo da quei condensatori...
