DOMANDA Cosa Accade Quando Si Riavvia Un Pc?

Come da titolo...cosa accade di preciso (tutti i passaggi) quando si riavvia un pc? (intendo premendo start e riavvia pc,ossia un riavvio ''caldo'' e non spegnendolo e riaccendendolo).
Quello che so io è che durante un riavvio vengono chiusi tutti i programmi e riavviato il sitema operativo...ma il bootloader viene riavviato? E soprattutto il bootloader dove si trova fisicamente? E' solo un software installato nel bios oppure ha una forma fisica sulla scheda madre? Durante il riavvio viene scollegata l'alimentazione per qualche decimo di secondo oppure no?
Insommma a differenza dello spegnimento o del riavvio freddo,il riavvio classico è solo software oppure implica la disattivazione e riattivazione anche di parti hardware?
La curiosità mi è nata dal fatto che smanettando spessissimo sul bios mi trovo a riavviare il pc anche 50 volte al giorno e vorrei sapere se questa procedura crea un degrado su qualche parte hardware (come può accendere e spegnere il pc tante volte) oppure se è solo un atto sofrware.

Dipende in parte dal sistema operativo ma differenze sostanziali quasi non esistono.
Lo spegnimento della macchina implica l'interruzione della corrente e quindi l'arresto totale degli hard disk e la perdita dei dati in memoria, nel riavvio invece non si ha l'interruzione di corrente e qualche informazione utile può essere scritta nel settore di avvio dell'hard disk o nella memoria statica del computer e recuperata immediatamente.
Questo succedeva sopratutto con i vecchi windows ma anche adesso quando installi un antivirus e fai la scansione preliminare per verificare che non ci siano virus presenti, l'antivirus scrive un comando di avvio nel settore principale dell'hard disk per evitare di essere contaminato.
Nei moderni windows questo non viene richiesto o comunque il sistema funziona anche se spegni e riaccendi.

Ci sono altri due sistemi di spegnimento: mettere in stand by e il cambio utente.
Mettere in stand-by significa che il computer scrive sull'hard disk tutti i dati che a in memoria fino a quel momento e interrompe l'alimentazione al monitor, agli hard disk e alla memoria per risparmiare corrente (utile nei portatili per risparmiare la batteria), la piastra madre invece rimane attiva e reagisce al movimento del mouse e alla pressione di untasto riavviando la corrente e ricaricando il file.

L'altro metodo il cambio utente è più tipico di Linux che di Windows, il sistema rimane in memoria ma tutti i programmi che stavi usando vengono chiusi e tutti i tuoi dati non salvati cancellati.

C'è infine un metodo segreto di riavvio che si usava con Windows 95 e il primo Windows 98 quando si imballava la grafica e che non è mai caduto in disuso almeno fino a Windows XP.
Se tu premi spegni o riavvia tenendo premuto il tasto maiuscolo sulla tastiera si riavvia solo la grafica dello schermo mentre programmi e dati rimangono intatti in memoria.

invece il bootloader non è una parte fisica ma ben si un programma che fa partire tutti i processi che devono essere eseguiti..

grazie mille della risposta,detto questo, quindi,non staccandosi mai la corrente , il riavvio (a differenza dello spegnimento) è solo un processo software giusto? Nessuna parte hardware si riavvia?. In teoria quindi pur riavviando 10000 volte non si danneggia nulla giusto? (a differenza di spegnere e accendere 1000 volte che staccandosi e riattaccando la corrente può creare guasti alle componenti)

ho cercato su google (sia in italiano che inglese) ma non ho trovato risposte chiare come la tua :)

tieni presente che le cose si complicano un pò con i nuovi uefi :)

sul dektop ho molti dischi , molto rumorosi e 2 ssd

avendo uefi e fastboot attivato il bios inizializza solo la partizione efi del primo disco ( ed unico ) che la contiene.
il loader carica diretto l'os, quindi un bootloader in senso stretto del termine non c'è.

il kernel dell'os inizializza le periferiche .
sul dektop ho molti dischi , molto rumorosi e 2 ssd

in windows non c'è niente di così completo , ma qua puoi vedere cosa fa il pc , il numero a sinistra indica il tempo trascorso .

tieni presente che le cose si complicano un pò con i nuovi uefi :)

in un reboot uefi, con fastboot abilitato il " bios" non interviene proprio , non c'è interruzzione di niente, solo l'os ferma se stesso e si rilancia da se.

ok quindi è solo un processo software,come aprire e chiudere una cartella giusto?
questo vale anche nel caso in cui non si utilizzi il fastboot?
posso in teoria riavviare anche mille volte senza creare usura alle parti hardware?

be comunque i riavvi implicano un utilizzo importante dei componenti per fa si che si che il sistema si avvii, è come una lampadina, ossia se la tieni accesa si consuma di meno rispetto ad accedere e spegnere..

esatto,questo mi preme sapere e non ho avuto ancora la certezza XD. la lampadina la spegni e quindi va via la corrente,farlo tante volte la fulmina,stessa cosa per il pc accendendolo e spegnendolo. Ma la lampadina non ha un ''riavvio'' mantenendo la tensione,è per questo che ho aperto il post,per sapere nello specifico cosa fa ogni singolo pezzo del pc durante il riavvio,dai dischi al processore,scheda video alimentatore ecc

quando clicchi sull'icona viene lanciato un programma che fa una chiamata al sistema, il sistema chiama l'hardware.

comunque è meglio spegnere e riaccendere rispetto a riavviare al meno che non lo devi fare ogni 2 secondi

Si ma aprendo la cartella lavora solo l hard disk come componente hardware,nel riavvio? Anche qui solo i dischi?
