Dunque per togliermi ogni dubbio ho reinstallato kubuntu versione completa (su virtualbox) usando il file system BTRFS, con il sistema pulito e il programma Timeshift BTRFS che mi avevi consigliato ho eseguito il backup, ho ripetuto la procedura per installare l'ambiente desktop deepin ma il problema non cambia :

Su manjaro quando tento di installare un programma mi dice di sostituire VISUAL vim con il mio editor preferito, che significa ?

@mister_karim: Not sure in what way you've installed your package, but you shouldn't be running anything from /tmp/yaourt after installing a package.

If your report is related to installing grub-customizer, use makepkg (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository#Installing_packages) instead of (possibly) broken AUR helper applications, which you might not understand entirely.

If your report is related to running the application, please report it upstream.

In any case, please refer to the wiki before posting here and make sure you actually did things the way they were intended.
I just built, installed and ran grub-customizer successfully.

Just updated to the 5.0 branch.
Please bake this and see if it works for you as intended.

@dvzrv Works good. Not sure what I've done wrong, but when I change my grub theme, click on one of the previews of that theme and change it afterwards I get this error message:
"exeptiopn '9Exception'
with message 'themefile boot_menu_e.png not found!'
in /tmp/makepkg/grub-customizer/src/grub-customizer-5.0.4/src/main/../Bootstrap/../Model/Theme.hpp:152"

I just installed it via makepkg. When changing the build path of makepkg the error message also changes to that path

@Auphora: I'm not sure what your error relates to and you might want to report this upstream, not here. Also:
- it seems some picture is not where it's supposed to be
- something in the way you built this package seems very off. There should be no relation to some makepkg dir in tmp when running the application... how exactly did you build this package? I suggest this way: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository#Installing_packages

Leggi con attenzione ciò che sta scritto nel messaggio di Yaourt: Modificare PKGBUILD [S/n]
Pur mancando il punto di domanda, Yaourt ti chiede se vuoi modificare pkgbuild, se te dai invio ti chiede quale editor vuoi usare esportando le funzioni di vim. Se te non vuoi modificare nulla, dovrai digitare N e dare invio.
Un' altra cosa, quando cerchi un programma o... invece di andar diretto con # pacman -S <pacchetto>, prova con $ pacman -Ss <pacchetto> oppure $ yaourt <pacchetto>.
Quest' ultimo farà una ricerca globale riportando tutti i programmi/pacchetti che contengono il target, sia nel nome o nella descrizione.

EDIT: Rileggendo mi accorgo di aver sbagliato.:P
Ti chiede solamente di impostare un editor per visual, evidentemente nel tuo sistema manca l' editor di default per visual.

Pur mancando il punto di domanda, Yaourt ti chiede se vuoi modificare pkgbuild, se te dai invio ti chiede quale editor vuoi usare esportando le funzioni di vim. Se te non vuoi modificare nulla, dovrai digitare N e dare invio.
Un' altra cosa, quando cerchi un programma o... invece di andar diretto con # pacman -S <pacchetto>, prova con $ pacman -Ss <pacchetto> oppure $ yaourt <pacchetto>.
Quest' ultimo farà una ricerca globale riportando tutti i programmi/pacchetti che contengono il target, sia nel nome o nella descrizione.

Ti chiede solamente di impostare un editor per visual, evidentemente nel tuo sistema manca l' editor di default per visual.

A parte che i messaggi son eloquenti di suo (ERRORE: L'uso di makepkg da root non è consentito), Yaourt non si usa sotto root né con sudo. Quindi se tanto mi da tanto, si avvia yaourt da utente e se i permessi nel file /etc/sudoers son ben impostati, durante i vari processi (non ricordo ben quando) ti verrà richiesto di identificarti come superutente.
Bisogna imparare a documentarsi, non perché le distro GNU/Linux lo pretendino, ma semplicemente perché si ha a che fare con cose nuove e mai affrontate prima.
Colgo l' occasione per... Il file /etc/sudoers non si modifica mai con un editor qualsiasi, ma si esporta vim in un qualsiasi editor di testo, per due motivi precisi.

Si capisco, non è per pigrizia, ieri ho fatto quasi tre ore di ricerche ma non ho trovato la soluzione, comunque sono riuscito ad' installare il programma come mi hai consigliato senza usare il root.

Ricapitolando dunque devo impostare i permessi su file sudoers ?

Vim dunque non è un editor di testo ? Mi dicevi che devo esportare vim su un editor di testo. Se per cortesia puoi indicarmi una guida così faccio tutte le configurazioni necessarie. Comunque la prima cosa da fare è installare un editor di testo ?

@mister_karim: Not sure in what way you've installed your package, but you shouldn't be running anything from /tmp/yaourt after installing a package.

If your report is related to installing grub-customizer, use makepkg (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository#Installing_packages) instead of (possibly) broken AUR helper applications, which you might not understand entirely.

If your report is related to running the application, please report it upstream.

In any case, please refer to the wiki before posting here and make sure you actually did things the way they were intended.
I just built, installed and ran grub-customizer successfully.

Please bake this and see if it works for you as intended.

@dvzrv Works good. Not sure what I've done wrong, but when I change my grub theme, click on one of the previews of that theme and change it afterwards I get this error message:
"exeptiopn '9Exception'
with message 'themefile boot_menu_e.png not found!'
in /tmp/makepkg/grub-customizer/src/grub-customizer-5.0.4/src/main/../Bootstrap/../Model/Theme.hpp:152"

I just installed it via makepkg. When changing the build path of makepkg the error message also changes to that path

It seems to work fine so far.

@Auphora: I'm not sure what your error relates to and you might want to report this upstream, not here. Also:
- it seems some picture is not where it's supposed to be
- something in the way you built this package seems very off. There should be no relation to some makepkg dir in tmp when running the application... how exactly did you build this package? I suggest this way: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository#Installing_packages

devo buttare un compaq pentium 3 con 192 mb di ram. volevo provarci prima qualcosa: contrindicazioni a puppy linux?

ma fermi, sto leggendo in giro: puppy non si può installare sul pc come le altre distribuzioni? si installa solo su chiavetta ???( e poi usa schermo e ram del pc) @lele.deb @chiunque
