PROBLEMA USB-C invisibile

Fedora 40 lxde, su Geekom A5.
Ho provato a collegare a porta USB-C diversi dispositivi:
- Altoparlanti
- Hub USB
- HardDisk esterno
Niente viene rilevato.
Per l'Hub USB, non ricordo se ho potuto provarlo anche su porta USB-A (l'ho restituito, probabilmente non ha funzionato neanche su USB-A), ma Altoparlanti ed HardDisk esterno su USB-A vengono rilevati e funzionano.
Come faccio ad accertare se ho un problema hardware sul Geekom A5, oppure il problema è software?
 
  1. lsusb command : List USB devices in Linux.
  2. usbview command : Show information on USB devices using GUI method.
  3. lspci command : See all PCI devices in Linux.
  4. usb-devices command : Display USB device details.

ci hai collegato qualcosa alla usb type C? da quello che trovo nelle specifiche del mini pc, la type C è l'unica 3.2

Non è possibile che quello che ci collego, l'HDD, non vada. Lo uso tranquillamente su porta USB-A. Infatti, collegandolo a USB-A, USB Viewer mostra queste informazioni:

Collegando lo stesso HDD a USB-C USB Viewer non lo vede più. E' come se non avessi collegato niente.

Quale Hub? Come collego il monitor ad una porta USB-C? Il monitor lo collego ad una porta VGA, o HDMI.

fai una chiavetta con una live di ubuntu 24.04 e vedi se in live quella porta funziona. se funziona è qualche inghippo di fedora
Cioè? Una chiavetta Live da usare sulla porta USB-C?
Ma potrebbe partire da SSD ed ignorarla.
 
Quale Hub? Come collego il monitor ad una porta USB-C? Il monitor lo collego ad una porta VGA, o HDMI.
quella porta usb C ha anche uscita video, se hai preso un hub type C con porte e lettore di schede SD, avrà anche un hdmi, ti basta collegare un cavo da li al monitor
