PROBLEMA Spariti centinaia di gb!

Ciao a tutti, da quando ho aperto e scaricato l'allegato di una mail (molto stupidamente) ho iniziato ad avere moltissimi problemi col PC.

Partiamo dal principio; circa a novembre mi arrivò una mail, stupidamente scarica il contenuto ma mi accorsi del danno e non lo avviai.
Dopo qualche settimane dopo un riavvio del PC (lo spengo molto raramente) mi apparse una notifica chiedendo di dare i permessi ad un applicazione e io clickai no, dopo svariate volte che si ripresentata clickate si... E da li il danno!
Era un cryptolocker, morale della favola buttati via tutto con un bel hard reset.
Subito mi accorsi che erano spariti ben 220gb li cercai per un po' e poi misi l'anima in pace (visto che i santi erano finiti).
Il PC andava bene, fino a ieri.
Accendo il PC, vado a mangiare e lo trovo che si sta ancora accendendo, e mi accorgo che continuava a riavviarsi, ripresentano la scritta "inaccessible_boot_device" .
Leggo un po' in giro, guardo qualche video ma niente, non riesco a sistemare il problema, ed infine opto per reinstallare Windows.
Nell'installazione indovinate quanto spazio mi dice di hdd? 16gb.
Mangiati altri 264 GB!
Però almeno questa volta i 264gb non sembrano del tutto persi, in quanto quando avvio mi fa scegliere che OS usare.

Quindi la mia domanda è : esiste un modo per riavere i miei 500gb? O l'unico metodo e cambiare hard disk?

si ovvia montandola in sola lettura con i comandi :


mkdir win
sudo mount -o ro /dev/sdb3 win

apri "file" e troverai una cartella che si chiama "win" , aprila e troverai i tuoi file .

però vorrei vedere qualcosa di più utile, nel menù applicazioni trovi il programma " dischi " o "disks" , apri quello e posta uno screenshot ( BASTA PREMERE IL TASTO " STAMP" e troverai l'immagine bella e pronta da carficare qua su toms )

eventualmente anche da terminale

sudo fdisk -l

che cosa strana, il tuo disco è da 320 GB .. sei sicurissimo fosse da 500 ?
vediamo come fixarlo comunque !


EDIT : PRIMA DI FARE TUTTO QUESTO PUOI POSTASRMI L'UOTPUT DEL COMANDO dmesg ?

usa questi comandi per aprire la vecchia partizione windows

mkdir win
sudo mount -o ro /dev/sdb3 win

così potrai copiare i dati su hdd esterno .

sempre da linux , dopo aver finito la copia scrivi in un terminale :
sudo umount /dev/sdb3
sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdb bs=4069 ( questo distriggerà in modo permanente TUTTI i dati del disco fisso rendendo materialmente impossibile ogni recupero , spianerà la tabella delle partizioni riportando il disco allo stato di fabbrica )
sudo fdisk /dev/sdb , si aprirù un programma, premi la lettera O ( crea una nuova tabella partizioni) e poi N e premi invio fichè non ritorni al prompt ( crea una nuova partizione non formattata grande quanto tutto il disco ) e poi premi la lettera W
se richiesto Q serve per uscire .
quanto sei tornato alla shell scrivi
sudo mkfs.ext4 /dev/sdb1 per formattare la partizione con ext4 , così il tuo volume dovrebbe tornare a 500 GB.
