Se invece lo cerchi per la VDSL devi verificare che abbia il modulo sopra con il DSLAM

Visto che hai aperto una discussione tua continuiamo lì, cmq il margine di rumore a 6db te lo avrei proposto dopo che avevi completato il passaggio alla 20mb perchè prima non si può mettere, cmq serve per aumentare la portante

Ho delle news. Trafficando con il modem/router ho settato diversamento i campi DSL Modulation Type: in adsl2 invece di adsl+2 Annex Type: in A ed ho ottenuto i seguenti valori:

up dw
Current Rate 508 8192
Max rate 556 9436
snr 23.4 6.4
att 16.4 32.2

e DSL Modulation Type: in adsl2 invece di adsl+2 Annex Type: in A/L ed ho ottenuto i seguenti valori:

up dw
Current Rate 508 8142
Max rate 556 9308
snr 21.9 6.2
att 16.3 32.2

In questo modo sbaglio o ho settato l'snr a 6 db? Se si dopo quanto tempo vedo con lo speedtest se è cambiato qualcosa? Grazie per la pazienza.
 
Stai semplicemente cambiando la modulazione ADSL.. ti sei fatto mettere la 20 mega? Comunque SNRm è a 6

Io non so che dirti :grat:. Cambiando quelle impostazioni il max rate si è abbassato subito da 14 mg a 9 mg.

Il problema era che con il modem che ho tramite Telnet non potevo variare l'snrm. Con un escamotage ci ero riuscito, ma non è cambiato niente per quanto riguarda la portante.

Ora ho rimesso tutto come era prima, tanto non cambiava nulla. Mi deve arrivare un modem dove tramite Telnel posso variare l'snrm e vediamo cosa succede. Mi è stato detto che era una prova inutile, ma per 30 euro ho un modem di scorta non fa mai male.
 
Ti ripeto che se hai un profilo a 8 mega è inutile che tenti di abbassare SNRm perchè prendi già portante massima.
Con un router differente la storia non cambia.
