Scusate la domanda da neofita, ma come funziona esattamente la selezione del numero di linee (al di là di considerazioni sui benefici tra x16, x8, ecc...)?
Facendo un esempio concreto sulla asrock z170m extreme 4 http://www.asrock.com/mb/Intel/Z170M Extreme4/?cat=Specifications
- 3 x PCI Express 3.0 x16 Slots (PCIE1/PCIE3/PCIE4: single at x16 (PCIE1); dual at x8 (PCIE1) / x8 (PCIE3); triple at x8 (PCIE1) / x8 (PCIE3) / x4 (PCIE4))*
- 1 x PCI Express 3.0 x1 Slot (Flexible PCIe)
*Supports NVMe SSD as boot disks
PCIE4 is from chipset PCIE x4 lane.
Supponendo di avere la scheda video su PCIE3 mentre gli altri slot sono liberi, questa potrebbe funzionare a 16 linee o andrebbe a 8?
E il PCIE2 (quello x1) influenza il numero di linee degli altri 3 slot?
