PROBLEMA Cambio Scheda Video - Rx480 8gb

la base è buona
montando una b75 di marca usata sui 30€ di sicuro la rx480 viene riconosciuta senza problemi

K410 (senza Power Switch). Ora ho trovato questo in un post del forum di supporto Lenovo riguardo un utente che voleva installare una GTX660 sul suo lenovo.

"When an after-market graphics card is installed into a motherboard with UEFI enabled in the system BIOS, or if the system is a certified Windows 8 PC with Secure Boot enabled, the system may not boot.

UEFI is a new system BIOS feature that is provided on most new motherboards. A UEFI system BIOS is required in order for the Windows 8 Secure Boot feature to work. Secure boot is enabled by default on certified Windows 8 PCs.

In order to get the PC to boot with a graphics card that does not contain UEFI firmware, the end-user must first disable the secure boot feature in the system's SBIOS before installing the graphics card.

Note: Some system SBIOS's incorporate a feature called compatibility boot. These systems will detect a non-UEFI-enabled firmware VBIOS and allow the user to disable secure boot and then proceed with a compatibility boot. If the system contains a system SBIOS the supports compatibility boot, the user will need to disable secure boot when asked during boot process.

Instructions for manually disabling secure boot:

1) Power down the system
2) Remove the NVIDIA Add-in card
3) Boot the system using integrated graphics
4) Enter CMOS settings. CMOS settings can usually be accessed during boot, typically by pressing one of F1, F2, F8, F12, or Delete (depends on the system firmware) Alternatively they can be accessed in Windows 8 as follows: http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to-access-the-bios-on-a-windows-8-computer/
5) Set Secure Boot to disabled
6) If there is an option, set CSM (or compatibility or legacy mode) to enabled.
7) Save the new settings
8) Power down the system

è vera? mi puoi dire di più? in effetti quando ho fatto il primo upgrade con una r9 270x io avevo win7, magari con win10 son cambiate delle cose nel bios??
 
ho visto che in ogni caso,la scheda entrerebbe,ed è già qualcosa ;)
se è andata la 7870, al 99% va anche la 480...io la prenderei da amazon e la monterei, se non funziona,subito recesso...

Non ho mai avuto una 7870 ma una r9 270x, le dimensioni (e i requisiti richiesti a bordo della scatola) sono gli stessi identici, a differenza che la 270x voleva 2 PCI-E da 6 per essere alimentata mentre la 480 vuole 1 PCI-E da 8 (6+2). La scheda l'hanno presa su amazon, quindi il reso è assicurato, al massimo ne richiedo un altra e se anche quella non funziona mi faccio dare il rimborso forse...

Ah ok, non sapevo di questo fatto ahaha my bad. Quindi mi consigli di fare il recesso e vedere se la 480 che mi daranno in sostituzione funziona?

Intanto ho provato a vedere se quella guida di primi avesse qualche fondamento ma nel mio BIOS non c'è alcun "Secure Boot" quindi nada...

prova a collegare all uscita video della scheda madre,anche con la 480 collegata...

Il problema è che non fa proprio il boot, si accende il pc ma rimane in schermo nero, non si accendono le altre periferiche (ho mouse e tastiera retroilluminati che all'accensione normale si accendono istant quando premo il tasto d'accensione, mentre con la 480 al posto della 270x questo non succede): funzionano solo tutte le ventole e si accendono i led della 480 ma nulla di più.
 
Questa sera proverò su quello di mio fratello che me lo porta: solo per provarla dovrò comunque disinstallare i driver e disinstallare la scheda grafica?? (lui ha una GTX) Oppure per vedere se va oltre il boot posso anche lasciargli tutti i drivers?
