LOL, a developer said that? AHAHAHAHA, oh my god im falling from my chair...
All you need to do is add this line under [/script/engine.engine] (create if its not there):
SmoothedFrameRateRange=(LowerBound=(Type=Inclusive,Value=30.000000),UpperBound=(Type=Exclusive,Value=150.000000))
Which does EXACTLY the same thing as the smoothframerate setting in UE3 games did. Worked for every UE4 Game I tried it with. (among them Fractured space and Battlefleet gothic armada)
The super obscure config path for UE4 Games: Appdata/Local/GAMENAME/Saved/Config/Windowsnoeditor/engine.ini
Hint: Ive seen especially smart developers (hint fractured space) who thought it would be hilarious to name their config folder "Spacegame" (atleast thats what it used to be named back when i played it)
Why is it so hard and stupid to do after we had so many years of UE3 configs that were easy to find and edit? I have no f*cking clue. Then again, getting more than 60 FPS without SLI support is rarely possible, atleast when youre 2560x1440 like me.
