SOLUZIONE: Windows 8 si blocca al logo Dell dopo l'arresto, riavvio o
ibernazione ? qui la soluzione (in Inglese): dell.to/U2WG2e

Follow the steps below to resolve.
Windows 8 hangs at Dell logo after Shutdown, Restart or Hibernation
* Restart the computer
* Press F2
* Go to Advanced
* Open SATA Operation
* Change it to AHCI from RAID or ATA
* Press F10 to Save changes and Exit the Bios
* Once into Windows, look on the system tray for Intel Rapid Storage Technology. Click it
* At the top click Accelerate
* At the bottom click Disassociate
* Click Select device
* Select your HDD (Disk on port 0)
* Click Enhanced Mode
* Click OK

Vorrei solo far notare come l'80% dei casi di stop al logo Dell con Windows 8 si risolve entrando nel BIOS Setup (sarebbe meglio dire UEFI setup...) e disabilitare l'opzione "Secure boot" per poi riabilitarla al successivo restart...
Vale la pena di provare, per poi passare a questa soluzione, senz'altro più complessa.
