se hai due banchi di ram da 2GB prova (a computer spento mi raccomando!) a toglierle e metterne prima una e poi l'altra a vedere se crassha lo stesso. Potrebbe essere una ram difettosa.

Forse era un po' di polvere negli slot ;) prova ad usare programmi pesanti ch necessitano l'uso di ram, anche giochi. A me succedeva quando facevo partire i giochi o anche solamente aul desktop minfaceva crasshare i driver video e poi tutto il sistema

Devi fare un test della RAM;
ti conviene scaricare una distribuzione Live di Linux, tipo Ubuntu 14.04 uscita ieri l'altro e fare il test con MEMTEST 86 (il DVD si avvia in Live senza installarlo); il test dura qualche ora ma ti conviene farlo e ti suggerisco di provare un banco per volta in modo da individuare quello (speriamo sia solo 1) rotto, sempre che sia rotto qualcosa. Magari se sei in overclock disabilita tutto l'overclock

Comunque ho fatto ieri il test per la ram prima con un banco e poi un altro ma nada...
Io pensavo fosse la vga in realtà è la ram?

dovresti avere un altro PC per provare; io per esempio ho una ATI Radeon HD4850 semidifettosa: a volte funzion a volte no, alla fine ho dovuto toglierla ha parte della RAM andata (si capisce dai puntini in fase di boot e da improvvise schermate blu).
Potrebbe perfino essere un driver.
Forse ti converrebbe riformattare e reinstallare, lo so che è un consiglio balordo ma spesso ci si perde meno tempo a fare così che a cercare di capire che c'è che non va. Se rifai tutto puoi testare il isstema ad ogni passo e alla fine becchi per forza la componente che ti fa andare il PC in errore.

Potrebbe essere un problema di scheda video. Prova anch'essa a disinserirla e inserirla nella slot tanto per assicurarsi che i piedini si puliscano, come per il discorso delle ram. Facci sapere ;)
