Problema desktop assente

Scrivo qui sperando che sia la sezione giusta...
Ho un problemino...mi sono improvvisamente sparite le icone dal desktop,le varie barre...è come se non esistesse più(anche cliccare col tasto destro del mouse non sortisce alcun effetto).
Ho fatto una scansione approfondita con avast e pare tutto ok...e anche utilizzo cpu e memoria allocata paiono normali...non mi sembra che giri nessun processo che non dovrebbe esserci.
Sono riuscito a fare la scansione e ad arrivare fin qua usando il Task manager,col quale credo di poter arrangiarmi anche in futuro,solo che,al di là della scomodità,non vorrei questa fosse la facciata di un problema più grave.
Ringrazio chiunque riesca a darmi una mano...
P.S.SO XP SP2...avevo appena impostato come predefinito Firefox 2(senza togliere IE),ma non credo possa essere quello il problema...
P.P.S.Forse avrei dovuto postare il tuto in "Sistemi operativi e software",chiedo venia se è così.

ciao, non credo che sia un problema di browser ma qualcosa di più, prova a fare anche una bella scansione con hijack this e altri software come ad-aware o spybot, ora sono gli unici che mi vengono in mente....perchè molti virus non si fanno riconoscere. comunque prova anche a fare delle scansioni in modalità provvisoria :sisi:

"Impossibile trovare il file /dlllist..." qualcosa del genere,nel mentre che ero riuscito a far "tornare" le icone...

Avevo scansionato anche con software di quel tipo,senza alcun risultato...
Come faccio a riavviare in modalità provvisoria usando il Task Manager?
P.S.Adesso(mattina),all'accensione,mi fa' l'effetto psichedelico...vedo-non vedo...più volte,ma poi scompaiono definitivamente.

Con PCCleaner Trial version mi trova 4 "bad file type" temporanei,che non riesce a rimuovere...

Ho bisogno del vostro aiuto,ragazzi...:help:

P.P.S.Con Ad-aware mi trova adesso sempre le stesse 3 cose(anche dopo eliminate):

Alla fine ho trovato il comando per far partire,da Task Manager,l'applicazione di ripristino del sistema,e ho ripristinato al 4 luglio(tanto per esser sicuro).
Problema risolto.
