DOMANDA Massimo storage supportato

Ciao, come faccio a capire qual'è il massimo valore di storage supportato dal mio sistema?
Mi spiego meglio, ho costruito un nas (mini pc con ubuntu server) con base su una asrock j3455 itx. A qyanto vedo, delle 4 porte sata. 2 sono gestite direttament dal processore (j3455), le altre 2 da un controller ASM1061.

Ora, qual'è la massima capacità degli hard disk che posso atttaccare a queste porte?

La specifica tecnica dell' ASM1061non parla di capacità massima, a differenza della ASM1092R che specifica nel dettaglio *Support over 2TB drives. Mettendo a confronto i parametri di entrambi i controller, penso che non hai affatto problemi a collegare supporti fino a 2TB.

Solo 2 TB? Al momento non è poco..ma tutti i dischi da 3-4-6-8.....

Non è il controller il limite, anzi quel controller su MB da server sono testati senza problemi con dischi fino a 10 tb

Ma è il firmware che il produttore ha messo sul tuo controller che può limitare la dimensione massima

Quindi dovresti vedere che versione fimrware hai e verificare che il tuo produttore non abbia scelto di mettere un tetto
