sulla confezione dove ce il "codice a barre" con numero batch product code ecc ecc mi segna questa striga:

I5 3570K 3,40 GHZ 6 MB CACHE LGA 1155, 95W <---------- è un semplice codice no non è il tdp vero? mica era 77?????????

Customer Letter: Thermal Design Power Listing on Product Information Label for Boxed 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7 and Intel® Core™ i5 Processors for the Desktop
The boxed processors identified in this notification have a marking of 95W on the Product Information Label attached to the side of the box. This is an indication of the Thermal Design Power (TDP) for the processor. The TDP/segment definition remains at 95W while actual measured power consumption for these processors is at or below 77W.
The design specification of 95W is utilized by both motherboard and thermal solution manufacturers to develop components that are compatible with both 2nd and 3rd generation Intel® Core™ Processors.
Some Intel documents list the TDP for these Intel Core processors at 77W which has caused some confusion. As a result, Intel will change the TDP listed on the Product Information Label to 77W. There is no functional difference of these processors listed at 95W as all conform to the 77W specification.
For a period of time there will be a mix of Channel inventory of these boxed processors with the TDP marked as 95W or 77W on the Product Information Label.

ho letto in giro anche che con questi 95W di TDP si tengono aperta la possibilità di fare un ivy con 6 core su piattaforma 1155
per me è una scemenza ma tutto può essere
