Installare Windows 8 su PC P4

Salve vi espongo brevemente il mio problema.
Vorrei installare w8 sul mio adorato muelto. :D
I requistiti che chiede l'OS sono, apparentemente non richiede chissa che cosa...

• Processore: 1 gigahertz (GHz) o superiore con supporto per PAE, NX e SSE2
  
• RAM: 1 GB (32 bit) o 2 GB (64 bit)
  
• Spazio su disco rigido: 16 GB (32 bit) o 20 GB (64 bit)
  
• Scheda grafica: Microsoft DirectX 9 con driver WDDM
  

Il mio mueltto monta un processore P4 2.66 GHZ socket 478, 1 giga di ram, 2 HD da 40 giga IDE scheda video Radeon 9200 SE family.
Vorrei sapere se è possibile.

Si può fare qualcosa? Ovviamente dovrei installare la versione 32 bit.

Puoi anche provare forse disabilitando tutte le opzioni grafiche.... poi con un GB di RAM secondo me riusciresti solo a fare qualche operazioncina e non molto altro. XP Pro a 32 bit sarebbe meglio XD.

Ho qualche dubbio solo sul processore.
Se hai W8 provare non costa nulla.

Ho letto in giro che w8 necessita che il processore abbia questi requisiti PAE, NX e SSE2 ... percil nulla a fare il mio p4 non supporta ne NX e forse neanche PAE.
Peccato :(

provare non costa nulla.. :) se il nuovo os microsoft ha gli stessi requisiti di win 7 girerà senza problemi

Win 7 su una configurazione del genere cioé sul P4 con 1 giga di ram ce lo vedo troppo stretto e credo che crasherebbe in continuazione.

Cmq domani ci provo, anche se credo con esito negativo.
