PROBLEMA Ho disinstallato internet explorer 9 per problemi ed ora...

Salve come da titolo ho disinstallato IE9 per problemi tecnici del tipo: quando aprivi una nuova tab la riavvivava dicendo che non rispondeva.
La pecca ora é che nemmeno IE8 é installato e siccome windows 7 ha IE8 di default non so dove andare a prenderlo per poi reinstallare internet explorer 9. Ho controllato pure nel menù funzionalità di windows ma non lo trovo.
E senza esso, non capisco il perché, non riesco a scaricare file da softonic o simili non si presentano più i gadget di windows...
é la seconda volta che disinstallo IE9 e mi incasina il pc, ma almeno la volta precedente IE8 c'era, anche se ho dovuto reinstallare tutto il so per mancata informazione sul problema ma sopratutto perché mi son girate le scatole e ho rimesso tutto.
Ora vorrei risolvere il problema come una persona civile:asd:!
Ho accesso a internet sul pc in questione siccome ho firefox, opera, chrome e safari:skept:.
Ma purtoppo il mio pc sembra bloccato senza IE.

il problema viene lì non riesco ad installare internet explorer 9 perché é come se manca l' otto

prova dalla gestione dei componenti aggiuntivi a rimuoverlo avviare e rimettere ie8 e poi installi il 9 oppure leggi qui How to reinstall or repair Internet Explorer in Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP

Correggimi se sbaglio ma la gestione dei componenti aggiuntivi é in IE8 vero? Io non ho completamente IE8. é come se fosse scomparso

Ma come hai disinstallato ie9?
Che io sappia non si può fare (se non col rischio di fare casini), con 7 basta andare nel pannello di controllo -> installazione applicazioni -> aggiungi/rimuovi funzionalità.
Se poi lo ripristini ti torna la versione 9.

Anche perchè alcune componenti di ie sono fondamentali per windows, è per questo che non si può disinstallare

IE9 é sottoforma di aggiornamento disinstallando quello si dovrebbe tornare a internet explorer 8 ma ciò non é avvenuto e non so perché.

Ho rimesso appusto le cose con il ripristino configurazione di sistema.
Fatto sta che IE9 funziona da una o due settimane molto male, quando carico una pagina dice IE non risponde ecc...
Ed é per questo che ho voluto disinstallare IE9, per poi successivamente reinstallarlo.
Quindi come posso procedere ora per disinstallare IE9 e reinstallarlo

Questo é quello che ho fatto io ma invece di reinstallare ie8 mi ha restituito il pc senza internet explorer

Infatti ora nella finestra delle funzionalità di windows c'é IE9 e deselezionandolo avverte come ha detto marco che potrebbe compromettere altre funzionalità di windows come se IE8 non esistesse più. Sarà perché ho l' SP1?

Second Method:

• Open Programs Control Panel and enable the "viewing of installed updates".
• Then sort the name column by clicking on the "Name" column label.
• Then look for the "Windows Internet Explorer 9" entry near the bottom of the list.

Third Method:

• Log in as Administrator
• Close all IE browser windows
• Open a "Command" windows by Clicking Start > Run > Cmd
• Open "Notepad"
• Copy and paste the text below into Notepad. This will convert the html below into plain text:

FORFILES /P %WINDIR%\servicing\Packages /M Microsoft-Windows-InternetExplorer-*9.*.mum /c "cmd /c echo Uninstalling package @fname && start /w pkgmgr /up:@fname /norestart"

• Next copy the text from Notepad and paste into the Command window at the disk prompt by right clicking the mouse and select "paste", then press the enter key.
• After the commands run and the disk prompt returns, paste the text again and rerun the commands.
• Next reboot to finalize / update the configuration with IE8.

Fourth Method:

• Log in as Administrator either in normal mode or safe mode
• Execute a system restore point dated prior to the ie9 installation
• Launch the ie browser and check if the older version is restored. If not, then proceed to next method -

Fifth Method:

• If Step 4 above has been executed, then
• Re-execute Steps 2 and or Step 3 at this time

Seventh Method:

Indirect Method - There is a possible method that indirectly allows for the removal of ie9. Please seePage 7 of this thread and review the post provided by Ron_500 and my subsequent response.


Please feel free to provide feedback related to the above method.


Note : If you successfully removed IE9, then your windows will subsequently notify you about the IE9 update via the windows update control panel. So you may need to disable / hide the ie9 update in order to circumvent reinstalling it again.

When the removal of IE9 is futile.



On newer computers, IE9 comes factory installed. It is slip-streamed along with the newer service packs. While I haven't found a direct method to remove ie9 by itself on these machines, it might be possible to uninstall the service packs first and revert the system back to the original version of windows, which may also re-instate the IE8.



However, if this is possible then it is an option best left for the experts or those that the retail version of the win7 setup / installation cd.



To this end the following tips are provided as a work around for those with an un-removable ie9:


Tip 1 : If removing IE9 is futile, you might try changing IE9 mode to IE8 mode by pressing the F12 key. A menu will pop up and there will be a "Browser Mode" option. After making the selection, press F12 to close and retry webpages that require the older browser mode.

Tip 2 : If removing IE9 is futile, you might try installing and using the "Fire Fox Browser". It is widely acceptable for use by financial and collegiate institutions. Besides, it is a good idea to have a back up browser on your system as well. I use Fire Fox 99% of the time now and it is a breath of fresh air for those of us who have endured and struggled with the ie's.


If additional methods are discovered, they will be posted accordingly herein.

Ecco fatto dopo aver eseguito l'operazione mi ritorna lo stesso eerore di quando l'ho fatto tramite disinstalla applicazioni al riavvio mi trovo windows che dice impossibile trovare ie4iunit.exe o un file simile
