stavo scasinando con SANDRA2004 e quando arrivo alla sezione Hdds tra i tips ne trovo uno riguardante: sul mio hd maxtor ata 133 - 120 gb sarebbe attivata la funzione di contenimento rumore sonoro ??????? e dice che cio mi danneggia le prestazioni . ora: non e che me ne fraghi molto se il mio hd fa piu rumore del 10 cilindri ferrari... con la guida ho saputo che...
Acoustic Management enabled. While this reduces the noise the drive generates, the performance is almost always impaired. Most of the time fans generate more noise than the drive itself. If the drive does generate a lot of noise, it may be faulty. You could also consider swapping the drive for another model that generates less noise.
Soluzione: You may need to use a specific utility for the drive downloadable from the manufacturer’s website to enable or disable these settings.
