Ati Mobility Radeon HD 3650 512 Mb

Hello,
I have an Ati mobility radeon hd 3650 that I use one an Acer Aspire 5920. First was working well but in this moment after 1 minute I start the laptop the screen torn off but windows OS start (I can here the sound of beginning. I try the vga in bios mode to see what happen and after 1 minute the screen torn off to. My idea is that some component on the vga card (like the processor or another component) became to warm and because of this the card wont work properly.



Can anybody help me with some answer?

have you tried to see if an external monitor and then connect with the external vga works correctly?

I connect the laptop with the TV from a vga cable but in doesn’t work. When the laptop display torn off the TV torn off to.

I think the video card is broken. If the card is soldered onto the motherboard you have to change it, if your adapter is soldered you can try to change it with an equal.

After I do some research in internet I found this page:

that help me understand what went wrong with the video card and why I was having all of this problems.
I post this link here for any other person that read this discussion because is facing a similar situation and I hope it will find the link useful.

if your notebook is the same as the guide then you can proceed in the purchase of new vga and give new life to your notebook.
