il disco sata2 che sto usando adesso lo devo montare sulla mb in oggetto
premetto che non ho ancora mai acceso questa mb, che il disco è partizionato in 2 ,che ci dovrò installare sopra winxp e voglio utilizzare la funzione NCQ.

Make a SATA / SATAII driver diskette by following section 2.16 step 2 on page 36.
STEP 3: Enter BIOS RAID utility (FastBuild Utility) to create JBOD on SATA /
SATAII HDD.
Restart your system. Press <Ctrl+F> to enter BIOS RAID utility (FastBuild Utility) to
create JBOD on SATA / SATAII HDD. For the proper operating procedures of
creating JBOD, please refer to the BIOS RAID installation guide part of the

non ho capito lo STEP3: cioè creare JBOD(Just a Bunch Of Disks) su un disco sata2...cosa vuol dire? a cosa serve questo jbod? perchè lo devo fare? dice di leggere la guida installazione raid, ho cercato jbod nella guida, non c'è niente su jbod.(cioè, non ho trovato la parola jbod col tasto cerca, ma la guida non l'ho letta attentamente)
poi il punto 1 non mi è chiaro: cosa intende per JBOD function?, jbod non è una specie di raid? non si fa con almeno 2 dischi?
in poche parole è il punto 3 che non capisco, devo entrare nell'ultility RAID e fare quella cosa li del JBOD per utilizzare la funzione NCQ?
ma poi questa funzione NCQ conviene utilizzarla?
