windows7: problemi office starter

Buongiorno a tutti
stamattina provo ad aprire i file excel o word del mio pc (sistema operativo windows 7 home edition) e questo è quello che ottengo (venerdì tutto funzionava perfettamente):

errore durante l'invio del comando al programma


application virtualization error:


the application virtualization client could not launch the application you requested.

the application virtualization client service is not running. Report the following error code to your system administrator.

error code: 4612817-0FA10612-00006003


Le mie conoscenze sono piuttosto limitate... ho provato a fare di tutto, a cercare in vari forum ma nulla

Qualcuno sa dirmi cosa posso fare?

ho provato prima, ma arrivo a HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft.... poi non riesco ad andare avanti. Softgrid.... non lo trovo:help:

ma questo office è portable oppure è installato nel pc?
