DOMANDA Vecchia Scheda Madre HP Possibilità Aggiornamento CPU o cambio della scheda madre stessa?

Salve, ho un vecchio PC fisso secondario che però ormai è diventato un pò troppo vecchio, la scheda madre è una HP 1494 socket LGA 1155
al momento monta un i5 2400 processore ormai lentissimo fa fatica anche nelle daily tasks in alcuni casi...

visto che è un pc secondario avevo pensato di aggiornarlo con un i7 2600 o un i72600k visto che hanno prezzi davvero bassi parliamo di 25 euro, anche se non sono del tutto convinto che la scheda madre supporti l'i7 2600k almeno il produttore non lo specifica, che consigli potete darmi a riguardo?

o forse è possibile cambiare proprio scheda madre senza cambiare alimentatore o case o altri componenti? (escluso il processore ovviamente e la ram immagino) il pc è un vecchio Hp 8200 elite series e monta un alimentatore HP 320W case ATX, Scheda video GT 1030 2GB GDDR5, 16 gb ram ddr3 1333mhz SSD 240GB 1TB HDD

Ovviamente sto cercando di spendere poco essendo un pc secondario di cui non sono io l'utilizzatore principale

In teoria socket LGA 1155 supporta fino all' Intel i7 3770, ma dipende dal chipset della scheda madre e dal suo BIOS. Se lo trovi a pochi Euro potresti provare a cambiarlo. Controlla anche se hai l'ultimo BIOS disponibile.

Allego qui lo screen di CPU-Z a quanto pare il chipset è il Q67 tuttavia non sono riuscito a trovare queste informazioni che mi hai specificato

Q67 era pure il migliore chipset ai tempi… il bios però è del 2011 e temo che non supporti i serie 3000

Il Bios sicuramente non è aggiornato, e potrei aggiornalo, tuttavia da quello che trovo su internet il Q67 non è adatto ai serie 3000, a quanto pare a prescindere

Grazie mille per le informazioni e la procedura da svolgere, tuttavia non ho trovato nessuna menzione per la possibilità di aggiornare ai serie 3000 grazie a questo nuovo BIOS

Si mi sa proprio di no... dici che supporta l'i7 2600k o l'i7 2700 o 2700k? L'unica cosa di cui sono sicuro è che supporta l'i7 2600 standard visto che è sull'user guide del produttore

There is no reason why it can’t take a 2700K. A 2700K is just a slightly higher binned 2600K with no architectural differences.
