Ho appena sottoscritto un contratto con FW per una 20 mb e dopo un giorno di 8 mb scarsi mi hanno qualificato la linea a 1,5mb :shock:
qualcuno esperto cortesemente mi potrebbe dire questi valori quale connessione mi permettono ?

ADSL2/2+ (DA 8 Mb/s a 24 Mb/s)
Rapporto segnale rumore – Margine Rumore (SNR):
< 3db = problemi, non si sincronizza o ha problemi a sincronizzarsi
3-4db = mediocre, si possono riscontrare problemi di sincronizzazione se abbinato a valori di portante superiori ai 12 Mb/s
5-7db = buono (ottimo se abbinato a valori di portante superiori ai 12 Mb/s)
8-10db = ottimo
> 10db = eccellente
Attenuazione di linea:
< 20db = eccellente, avete una linea molto buona e siete evidentemente molto vicini alla centrale, potete collegarvi con il massimo valore di portante agganciata
20-30db = ottimo
30-40db = buono, non vi sono controindicazioni
40-50db = mediocre, si consiglia di non superare i 12 Mb/s di portante
50-55db = critico, potrebbe essere necessario un abbassamento del valore di portante in caso di instabilità della connessione
> 55db = problemi, potrebbe non essere possibile instaurare una connessione ADSL2


sembra che ho una connessione incredibilmente performante sul SNR e una connessione impossibile da effettuare sull' ATTENUATION ?
come si leggono i miei valori ?

sono di roma (ostia) come lo capisco se sono ULL o WS ? sul sito hanno dato la mia zona come coperta dalla 20mb ... di più non so...
 
infatti è coperta, attainable rate: 14mbits/s

Di margine di rumore hai 21.4 in download, ma solo 7.2 in upload. Secondo me ci deve essere qualche problema. Di tanto in tanto controlla il rate, l'attainable rate, snr e attenuation, e controlla se variano. Se spegni (aspetti un po', quel minutino) e riaccendi il router, quanto ti da di rate?

anche da FW mi dicono che la qualità del segnale è buona e dovrei raggiungere velovità elevate.... e poco fa mi hanno detto che mi faranno l'ennesima riqualifica... stavolta però "doppia" boh...

si, quello significa che sei allineato a 13, e no, lo speedtest dice l'esatto contrario. Ma non è che tieni p2p aperti, nel mentre? in genere subito dopo il reset del router gli speedtest vanno bene. il tuo pc è l' unica cosa collegata al router? A questo punto mi s che il problema sia sulla piastra. controlla l'incidenza degli errori, cmq
 
ho resettato il router stamani, due volte, e il router ora dice addirittura 14 mb, ma speed sempre 2mb..... il pc è l'unica cosa collegata e senza nessun p2p o altro che possa succhiare banda.... posso escludere che il problema sia il doppino dentro la mia abitazione ?

Sinceramente a questo punto dipende dalla differenza di prezzo, cmq si, è migliorata, anche perchè a 14 di portante, penso che 10-11 sia più o meno il massimo che tu possa aspettarti (potrebbe andare leggermente meglio, però manco andiamo a cercare il pelo nell'uovo). Attenuazione e rumore sono migliorate? Attainable rate? rate?

Spero che risolvano anche a me... Son passato da 15/16 mega in download a 7 nel giro di una settimana... Il problema é che non sanno che fare perché ti rimbalzano ogni giorno... Che palle
