Ubuntu rinuncia a X per la grafica di Wayland

Mark Shuttleworth, fondatore di Canonical, ha fatto sapere che Ubuntu userà il server grafico Wayland, che andrà a sostituire l'attuale X Window System. Il nuovo software offre più potenza e facilità di programmazione, ma ci vorrà tempo per ottenere un passaggio indolore.
