PROBLEMA schermate blu ripetute

avevo già aperto tempo fa un post dal titolo "consiglio per sw editing video".
Ripeto la storia.
Dopo ogni vacanza o avvenimento, cerco di creare filmati, masterizzabili su DVD, che contengano fotografie e filmati insieme con inserimento di sottofondi musicali a mia scelta.
I filmati e le foto vengono da una reflex.
Da anni utilizzo come software di editing Magix Foto su CD & DVD 7 oppure Magix Film su DVD 8.
Magix crea un DVD iso masterizzabile con all’interno un menu e più capitoli, sia con filmati da foto che da film.
Ultimamente poi , mentre sto editando con Magix Foto, mi esce sul pc la maledetta schermata blu, credo imputabile a qualche problema del pc con questo software.

mi esce solo se avvio il programma Magix Foto.
Non capisco se è il mio pc che ha qualcosa che non va o Magix Foto.
Mi avevano consigliato di provare per l'editing Da Vinci Resolve, ma non ho ancora trovato il tempo di testarlo.
Devo trovare un sw per l'editing che non mi dia questi problemi o devo "riparare" qualcosa anche sul pc?
Ho fatto girare scannow dal prompt e non mi ha dato errori.

Ho guardato sul sito.
Di aggiornamenti del sw non ce ne sono perchè è piuttosto vecchio.
Ho scritto sul forum Magix ma fin'ora non mi hanno risposto
