Ciao a tutti ho acquistato unaSapphire VAPOR-X R9 290 4GB GDDR5 TRI-X OC (UEFI)

E ho letto di sto UEFI io ho un sistema normale credo sia legacy scusatemi se sbaglio ... mi legge lo stess a scheda video??? O devo installare sto uefi che non ho ben capito cosa sia

Aspetta un attimo, che scheda madre hai? Dal socket 1366 si usa praticamente solo UEFI, se hai ancora il BIOS normale potresti avere hardware troppo vecchio per quella scheda video. Su che scheda madre e alimentatore andrai a montare?

Comunque la dicitura UEFI significa che e' compatibile con il boot ultra-fast di UEFI e WIndows 8, nulla di piu'.

Guarda io ero convinto di prendere la gigabyte gtx 780 ghz edition review poi ho visto questa vapor-x (perché io sapevo solo della trix e la trix dava dei problemi ad alcuni) L'ho pagata 335 euro e funziona a meraviglia nessun problema ed esteticamente è bellissima ti consiglio di acquistarla ;)

Da possessore di una r9 290 mi sembrava strano: solo la vapor-x ha questa feature.

In the place of AMD’s usual BIOS switch, Sapphire has added their own design that supports dual firmwares. In its default position, it engages the card’s legacy BIOS which is compatible with all operating systems. Depressing the button enables Sapphire’s Secure Boot Mode which is essentially a UEFI firmware that is approved and WHQL signed for compatibility with Windows 8’s secure boot. In this secure environment, only “known good” core and boot loaders can execute before the OS loads. This locks down the system and prevents malicious code from running without the end user’s knowledge and in theory should speed up the loading of Windows.

UEFI. La tua scheda madre è compatibile quindi vai di uefi.

Nulla ti vieta di provarli entrambi ( switcha a computer spento) e vedere quello con cui ti trovi meglio.

Quindi spengo pc attivo quella roba li e riaccenso il pc e va più veloce ??? (Dovrebbe)

Per avere l'i5-4690k devi avere l'ultimo bios quindi la mobo è a posto.

Si spegni attiva e riavvia.
