Router telecom e netgear

Ciao a tutti, oggi dato che mi han consegnato il router fibra di telecom ho dovuto scollegare il mio netgear dgnd3700.
Vorrei sapere se è possibile rendere il netgear dgnd3700 un extender e posizionarlo in qualsiasi stanza della casa collegandosi in wifi al router telecom. In alternativa so che è possibile collegarlo tramite porta WAN solo che non avrei molto benefici in fattore di distribuzione del wifi in tutte le stanze.. è possibile fare ciò ? e come?

1. Connect LAN cable from master router modem on port 4 of the Netgear
2. Manually assign IP address to your computer of 192.168.0.2
3. Access the Netgear from the IP address 192.168.0.1
4. From the Basic Settings page change
‘Does your Internet connection require a login?’ to NO
Disable NAT
Disable Firewall
5. Save settings .. reboot and login via the 192.168.0.1
6. Go to Advanced > LAN Setup and change the IP address to the one you really want to use
7. Save settings on last time and change your computers IP address to Dynamic

in questo caso lui usa 192.168.0.1 ma va messa la subnet del router telecom

oppure (il manuale non è chiarissimo nell'uso come "child")

In the repeater mode with wireless client association, the DGND3700 wireless modem router
sends all traffic to a remote access point. For the repeater mode, you have to enter the MAC
address of the remote “parent” access point

oppure se l'altro accetta il point-to point
Point-to-Point Bridge Configuration
In point-to-point bridge mode, the wireless modem router communicates as an access point
with another bridge-mode wireless station. As a bridge, wireless client associations are
disabled—only wired clients can be connected. You have to enter the MAC address of the other bridge-mode wireless station in the field provided. Use wireless security to protect this communicatio

In questa modalità si connette wifi all'altro e i pc vanno sulle porte ethernet

Devo disabilitare il DHCP sul secondo router che funge da repeater? inoltre come mai quando spunto la voce repeater e metto il mac address del router fibra di telecom mi dice che devo disabilitare la sicurezza del wifi togliendo la pass?

presumo perché l'accesso è controllato dalla password del primo router, il secondo ripete
