PROBLEMA Problema avvio XP, possibile malware

Salve, spero possiate aiutarmi.
Ho un pc con xp sp3, quando si avvia avira va lentissimo e dopo alcuni minuti si apre l'ombrello e il firewall di windows manda un messaggio di pericolo, salvo poi avviarsi dopo pochi secondi. Avira mi si bloccava anche in apertura quindi l'ho disinstallato. Ho fatto una scansione con Hijackthis, poi ho tentato con combofix ma mi diceva che lo scan di antivir era ancora presente (ma l'avevo disinstallato... ripulito tutto con ccleaner... e riavviato)...

Ho seguito la guida, nel frattempo ho messo avast al posto di avira. Il problema in avvio si è risolto, parte abbastanza rapidamente.
L'unica cosa che continuo a riscontrare è una certa difficoltà nella visualizzazione dei video online, più che altro con chrome e firefox, con IE no. Mentre sono aperti (ad esempio youtube) i video non sono fluidi, a volte perdono il sincro audio e scattano.

Aggiornamento: avast ha appena bloccato win32 dropper gen...
e ha rischiesto una scansione al riavvio (che sta facendo adesso)
Dovrei eliminarlo dal cestino o serve altro tipo di scansione?

ero uscito per delle commissioni, controlla dal task manager l' utilizzo di cpu per svchost servizio di rete in %

svchost devo controllarlo con browser aperto o chiuso? In "Processi" mi dice comunque 0
la cpu è Pentium(R) 2.80 GHz

il problema che i browser consumino tanta cpu in visualizzazione video (explorer meno stranamente...) è una questione proprio di hardware o è una stranezza?
 
con avira prima gli era sempre andato bene... boh...
come firewall posso lasciare quello di windows? Il proprietario è molto spratico e morirebbe all'apertura di finestre... :)
 
i sw antivirus si scaricano sempre dai siti ufficiali, con tutto il rispetto per filehippo

i BHO sono i componeti agiuntivi del browser, non fixare niente , disattiva java helper, e aggiorna adobe flash player
 
flashplayer è aggiornato, così come air e shockwave...
da dove disattivo java helper?

avast comunque non consumava cpu... erano proprio i browser a sovraccaricarla.
 
si come firewall usa quello di windows xp, per l' AV dammi retta ..avg o bitdefender
