Problema a installare ai pacchetti

Dopo l'installazione di Kubuntu avvenuta in modo più che soddidsfacente,e dopo aver installato anche il codec xvid,ho un problema a installare i pacchetti (package),qnd lancio il coamndo scarica il software di auto installazione e poi da errore...
Come posso risolvere?
 
Se ti riferisci ad apt-get il problema è che ci sono momentanei problemi sui server dei repository italiani. Devi usare quelli stranieri, quindi edita il file /etc/sources.list

Cancella i repository italiani e metti questi:

Salva e riprova a installare i pacchetti in questione.

Le altre volte però scaricava l'applicazione e dava un altro errore dopo...

ma hai provato ad usare il pacchetto creato apposta per ubuntu? lo scarichi e installi con le istruzioni date da AMD64 (di solito è meglio usare quanto predisposto per la distro in uso per evitare rogne inutili)
 
il pacchetto non serve che te lo mandiamo via mail (io poi non uso nemmeno ubuntu), con il comando che ti ha indicato AMD64 il download è automatico e sempre automatica è l'installazione.
