Ragazzi Ieri Mi E' Capitata Una Cosa Molto Strana,
Uo Una Mainboard Supermicro P4spa (chipset 865, Che Accetta Ram Pc3200)
-ieri Ho Sostituito Le Mie 2 Ram Da 256mb pc2700 Con 2x512 pc 3200 twinmos.

La Scheda Madre Pero Me Le Vede Come Pc2700, Anche Cpuz Me Lo Conferma, Nella Scheda Memory Mi Da Frequency 166.2,

Invece Nella Scheda Spd (quando Guardo Le Ram Singolarmente Le Vede Come Pc3200)

Ho Anche Provato A Lasciare Un Banco Sole...e Viene Cmq Vista Come Ddr 333

Non So Come Fare...per Favore Aiutatemi.

intanto inizia con l'aggiornare il bios.

se non funziona è possibile che le ram non siano compatibili al 100% con la mobo...

piu tardi aggiornero il bios dalla versione 1.2a alla 1.2b

ma è normale che nel bios non riesco a trovare dove viene settata la frequenza delle memorie?

This is normal because P4 CPUs with 533 FSB will only support up to DDR 333 MHz. You need to use P4 CPU with 800 FSB in order to support DDR 400 MHz memory speed.

quindi se hai un p4 con fsb a 533 vai per forze a 333mhz di ram. cmq la differenza tra ddr400 o ddr333 non è molta. tira un pò i timings e riprendi ogni gap ;)

la diff tra di esse in lettura dati è di 500 mb al secondo!
