AMD ci ha appena comunicato rilascio dei driver grafico ATI Catalyst 9.3 con supporto a tutte le schede della serie ATI Radeon e con
l'introduzione di una nuova versione compatibile con il sistema operativo Windows 7.
ATI Catalyst 9.3 rappresenta quindi il primo pacchetto d’installazione di driver unificato che include il supporto per Windows 7, compatibile con Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM – Windows Display Driver Model) 1.1., in grado di offrire benefici per tutti gli sviluppatori che stanno attualmente testando o aggiornando le proprie applicazioni usando la versione beta di Windows 7.
Oltre alla stabilità dei driver grafici per Windows 7, la combinazione di Windows 7 con la grafica di ATI Radeon permette agli sviluppatori di utilizzare appieno DirectX 10.1 API, usato da Microsoft per realizzare Windows 7 Aero desktop.
