Led wifi, tasto fn+f2 per gestire wifi e bluetooth non funzionante

Salve a tutti. Ennesimo problema con kubuntu. La combinazione fn+f2 per gestire il wifi non funziona così come non funziona il led di stato del wifi. La connessione funziona correttamente, ma non è gestibile da tastiera. In più il bluetooth non va. Il programma bluedevil una volta lanciato non si apre e il cellulare non trova il pc, segno questo che non va la rete bluetooth. Idee?

Di fn+f2 il web ne è pieno.

I tasti Fn tramite controller della tastiera generamo eventi ACPI. E vengono gestiti o mediante WMI o metodi specifici del costruttore.

Le soluzioni sono specifiche a seconda della marca modello e driver usati.

Per quanto riguarda fn+f2 non c'è una segnalazione specifica per asus P550LAV, quindi l'unica è ricorrere ai workaround usati per asus quelli che ricordo sono

provare con
modprobe asus-nb-wmi se acpi gestito da vmi
o
acpi_osi=Linux aggiungendolo su grub alla linea del kernel

se non va si potrebbe andare di vecchia maniera, testare con
acpi_listen se il fn+f2 viene intercettato e con che codice e mettere script opportuni in /etc/acpi, l'ultima volta che l'ho fatto era un ubuntu 7.10 e da allora le directory sono un po' cambiate e molte cose alloea non venivano fornite, adesso ci dovrebbe essere un /etc/acpi/asus-wireless.sh

con acpi_osi=linux ho provato e niente. modprobe asus-nb-wmi dove devo piazzarlo invece? che significa acpi gestito da vmi? anche il comando acpi_liste...potresti essere più preciso sul da farsi per favore? grazie mille


Per il Bluetooth, ci sono varie discussioni, causa driver non efficienti o non pienamente supportati, ma c'è chi è riuscito a risolvere:

La soluzione per il wifi mi dice di estrarre un file compresso nella cartella /usr/src
E' per caso pericoloso per il sistema? Tra l'altro come copio il file all'interno della cartella src?

sudo modprobe asus-nb-wmi comando dato da terminal checarica dinamicamente il modulo asus-nb-wmi., se dopo averlo caricato fn+f2 funziona poi si può caricare permanente

acpi_listen si lancia in un terminal e poi si premono i vari fn+Fx (prova con tutti), se il tasto viene intercettato dall'acpi dovrebbe comparire sul terminal una stringa con un numero, così si verifica se quel tasto viene intercettato (e con che numero)

l'acpi è l'interfaccia fra l'hardware (tasti funzione, led, sensori, luminosità, batteria, ecc) e il kernel, che può o usare uno standard proprietario del costruttore o usare lo standard vmi, non sapendo il tuo pc cosa usa, ci proviamo


Io sul mio (asus eeepc vecchiotto) ho acpi_osi=Linux e funziona tutto
Però ho visto che per i pc recenti, ora dicono


  • ACPI - for the modern models of laptops with UEFI (2011 year production or newer) please adding beside acpi_osi=Linux:

Per il Bluetooth, ci sono varie discussioni, causa driver non efficienti o non pienamente supportati, ma c'è chi è riuscito a risolvere:

niente...non è cambiato nulla....ma forse la connessione è migliorata
