Volevo un consiglio sulla seguente configurazione, la userei principalemente con C4d/Houdini con Octane render e After Effects cc2014 (no multhitreading) tutto raffreddato a liduido:

CASE - ThermalTake The Tower 900 Full
MOBO - Rampage VI Apex X299 M.2 DDR4 Extended-ATX Socket 2066
CPU - Intel i9 7900X 3.3Ghz 10 Core (4,3/4,5Ghz turbo boost)
CPU COOLER - EK-Supremacy EVO Elite Edition - Intel 2011-3
GPU - 2x GTX 1080 Ti Strix 11GB + 1 Titan X 11GB(Maxwell)
PSU - MasterWatt Maker 1500W Full Modular 80Plus Titanium
RAM - 64GB (4x16GB) G.Skill 16GB DDR4 DDR4 3000MHz
HD - Samsung SSD 950 Pro M.2 256 GB PCIe 3.0 +
OS - Windows 10 (without the latest FC update?) or Win7 if I need access to more vram

In realtà già possiedo altri 2 SSD.
Ho confrontato i prezzi del preventivo con quelli su pcpartpicker e mi sembrano in linea anzi le GTX è la CPU costano anche meno

Cos'è questa storia di w7 e W10 e la vram? Hai 2 (o 3 forse) schede video con 11gb ciascuna.. devo condividere anche la RAM di sistema? Perché?

Puoi averne anche 10.. intendevo in generale che la parte storage è ridicola a confronto del resto.. poi il 960evo è migliore prezzo/prestazioni ma non il migliore in assoluto, ci sono NVMe più performanti.. e poi su una configurazione del genere mi aspetterei anche attenzione alla sicurezza, quindi almeno un raid-1

PS è incluso anche il montaggio.. la storia della vram riguarda Octane render. In particolare. A quanto pare w10 succhia il 20 per cento
