PROBLEMA External HDD file transfer stops on ubuntu

Hi !
Product : Toshiba canvio basics 2TB ( new from Amazon )
Windows compatible ( and works fine on w8 and w10 )

Problem: When i move data using Ubuntu the transfer start really fast, 200mb/s, and to slow down until it reaches 5kb/s at 99.9% of the transfer and it takes 10-20 min to complete.
The external HDD was originally NTFS and i formatted it to FAT32 to make it usable with Ubuntu 18.04 since i need it for work.

I don't know if it's only windows compatible and thus i should not expect it to work on ubuntu or if there's a solution since after waiting 10-20 min the transfer reaches the 100%

Il file system NTFS è supportato in lettura e scrittura su Ubuntu, fat32 ha molte limitazioni, quind iti consiglio di passare a NTFS.
