La CPU che vorrei montare è un Pentium 4 661, dalla scheda tecnica [
Intel® Pentium® 4 Processors 661 - SL94V e
Intel® Product Comparison Chart ] è compatibile con il mio chipset.
Dalle prove che ho fatto e i forum che ho letto ho capito che molto probabilmente è un problema che ha la BIOS chiusa, essendo un notebook e pure dell'HP..
Quindi, quello che mi chiedo ora è: c'è qualcuno che sa o può darmi una mano a "mettere mano" nel BIOS e "aprirlo" in modo da fargli digerire la suddetta CPU?
Ho trovato qualche tool per modificare il BIOS [che è una Phoenix], ma pur avendo varie esperienze di programmazione di linguaggi a basso livello purtroppo ho solo vaghi ricordi dei tempi del liceo........:boh:
