Alcune cose in cui non riesco

Ciao ho appena installato kubuntu 6.10 tutto liscio dopo un po' di tentennamenti sono riuscito a configurare il router, a parte che rimane cmq in inglese (se qualcuno sa come farlo diventare italiano?) ma non è importantissimo.

Ora vorrei installare i codec per mp3 e firefox con thunderbird, ho letto sul manuale come abilitare i reposetory universe e multiverse e dovrei averlo fatto giusto, se vado nel pannello adept sono nere tutte le voci che nelle descrizioni hanno universe e multiverse. Dopodiche vado nel pannello aggiungi programmi ma firefox e thunderbird sono grigi e non selezionabili.

Se qualcuno a dei consigli....grazie mille

Per i codec mp3 devi installare questo pacchetto libxine-extracodecs anch'esso nei repo multiverse.
Comunque posta il tuo file /etc/apt/sources.list che vedo se c'è qualcosa di sbagliato ;)

Invece di adept ti consiglierei di usare Synaptic, che, anche se nato per Gnome è molto più usabile di adept.

Io nel menu adpet non trovo libxine-extracodecs nonostante i reposetory multiverse sono attivi.

Come faccio a inviarti il file?

Copia e incolla solo il contenuto :)
Sicuramente non sono attivati bene perché quel pacchetto è nei multiverse.

non riesco a modificare il file suppongo di non riuscire ad entrare come root.

Se non ho capito male non si attivano solo i multiverse poichè gli universe funzionano ciao ciao:shock:
