PROBLEMA win 10 non riconosce usb 3.0 - USB Device tree vede 4 porte in più

Buongiorno a tutti,

il mio pc ha delle porte USB 3.0 di cui ho necessità per collegare un adattatore a VGA.
Queste porte USB 3.0 in realtà vengono lette 2.0

Tramite USB Device Tree Viewer, vedo in total 20 porte (a fronte delle mie 6).
4 USB 3 che non riesco a trovare, 4 USB 2.0 lette come USB 2.0. 2 Porte USB 3.0 lette come USB 2.0

Chi ti ha detto che dalla USB 3.0 esce un segnale VGA?? dal tuo screen le porte USB 3.0 sono riconosciute.

Come dice quizface l' USB3 non porta un segnale VGA... quello lo devi prendere dalla porta DVI-D, mentre il monitor dovrebbe essere collegato tramite la Display Port sulla scheda madre, visto che il preassemblato di default non nasce con GPU su PCIe.

Ho preso uno di questi adattatore. E' un adattatore usb 3 a vga. In sostanza converte il segnale usb a vga.

Che su una usb non ci possa collegare una vga ci ero arrivato anche da solo.

Il problema è che le porte dalla 17 alle 20 non sono fisiche.
Ma solo dalla 1 alla 10 (forse meno). Come vedete dalla H e non dalla S vicino al numero della porta, la porta è abilitata fino alla velocità SUPER.

Ergo collego il monitor, tramite l'adattatore. La porta funge da porta USB 2.0 (e non 3.0 nonostante io la colleghi alla porta giusta, le blu per intenderci), la risoluzione massima del monitor arriva a 800*600 (nonostante sia un hd).

Ergo, ripeto il quesito. Come faccio a far funzionare le porte USB 3 come porte USB 3.0 e non come 2.0?

Ho aggiornato il driver chipset, scaricato il driver update di intel e rilevo comunque l'errore.

Il companion index delle porte 3.0 è comunque settato a 0. Credo che l'errore sia questo. Non ho la certezza.

E' un adattatore usb 3 a vga. In sostanza converte il segnale usb a vga.

Si, in realtà quello non mi pare un adattatore da USB a VGA, dato che le porte USB non portano segnale VGA a differenza delle porte USB-C, che portano segnale video. Piuttosto quella semplicemente mi pare una scheda VGA ESTERNA minimale da 5 Watt alimentata via USB 3.0 invece che PCIe.

Ma scusa se cambio discorso... l' i5-6400 ha una APU HD-630 che è il 500% più performante della 210... che ci fai con la 210??

E poi: sia la 210 che l' APU del I5-6400 reggono due monitor senza problemi... questo vuol dire CHE HAI GIA' due monitor e ne devi attaccare un terzo VGA? Scusa le domande, è per curiosità.

Riguardo alle porte 3.0 che dici vengono lette come 2.0 non saprei proprio come aiutarti, visto che le immagini che hai postato parlano di Controller 3.0, Hub Radice 3.0 e che l' immagine di USB Device Tree Viewer che hai postato indica che le ultime 4 porte sono USB 3.0

Nel senso che l' unico device USB del PC è inserito, al momento dello screenshot, in una porta USB 3.0?

Per curiosità puoi mettere DUE dispositivi USB qualsiasi nelle due porte USB 3.0 posteriori per vedere in che porte li vede USB Device Tree Viewer?

La tua scheda Fujitsu D3400-A1 ( vedi la mia immagine nel mio post precedente) di porte USB dovrebbe averne 4... o no?

In informatica gli indici partono da Zero. Vuoi dire che è Zero per tutte e 4 le porte?

Visto che l'adattatore type c replica tante porte e ne vedi 20, per tutte le connessioni usb non sai quali attiva e quali no: gli attacchi usb sono estraibili a caldo ma anche inseribili a caldo.Togli tutte le periferiche usb apri gestione periferiche e in particolare le porte usb,collega ad una ad una le periferiche usb così hai un quadro completo e puoi iniziare a gestire le 20 porte

Ebbene si, lo confesso. Una mirabolante serie di eventi mistici mi ha portato a questa situazione. Ma andiamo con ordine:

1) Esatto VGA esterna alimentata usb

2) L'idea originale era utilizzare in tandem la IGPU e la GPU per avere 4 porte. Io nella mia configurazione ho 3 monitor. Quando abilito anche la IGPU e ci collego qualcosa, windows mi disconnette. Quindi mi riporta al login windows.

3) 4 porte sul retro, 2 sul davanti. Collegando tutte le prese (1 alla volta). Ho scoperto che solo le porte H corrispondono agli ingressi fiscici, sono le porte tra 1 e 10 (non ricordo di preciso quali delle 6). Le porte dalla 17 alla 20 (non hanno dato riscontro).

Collegando il mio adattatore alla porta usb 3 (una delle due) si collega alla port. 9

4) E' 0 per tutte le porte.

Ok,dal famoso manuale di istruzioni del pc, controlla le porte posteriori,alcune sono 2.0 e ci puoi collegare fino a periferiche usb 2.0,altre sono 3.0 e ci puoi collegare sia periferiche 2.0 che 3.0.Vicevesa una periferica 3.0 messa in una porta 2.0 o Windows ti avvisa di metterla in una porta 3.0 oppure si connette ma funziona male

Grazie per la risposta. Apprezzo molto l'interesse.

Ho controllato che sia collegata in una porta 3 (riconoscibile sia dal colore blu), che dalla descrizione e dalla chiara illustrazione del manuale. Dal programma USB DEVICE TREE VIEWER, mi esce quanto sotto. La USB Port 2 è la porta numero 2.

L' "adattatore" non è un Type-C ma un semplice USB 3.0 e la mobo non ha porte USB-C.

Se ha collegato l' adattatore nella Porta 2, che è una USB 3.0, in effetti non si spiega perché il programma legga:

Supported Protocols : 0x03 (1.1, 2.0)

Collegando il mio adattatore alla porta usb 3 (una delle due) si collega alla port. 9

E quindi una USB 3.0 è la porta 2 e l' altra è la porta 9 ... questo già mi suona più strano.

Guarda che quel messaggio 0x3 (1.1 ,2.0 ) secondo me è che è stata messa una periferica usb 3.0 in una porta 2.0 e il programma ti avvisa che supporta solo 1.1 e 2.0, omette usb ma sono i le due versioni di usb che una porta 2.0 supporta

Potrebbe essere, ma Aliseo è sicuro di averla messa in una 3.0.

Alieso, prova a scaricare USB Devices (non ha neanche bisogno di installazione) e posta screenshot:

1) PRIMA con tutti i tuoi TUOI DEVICE USB connessI (tra mouse, stampanti, chiavette ecc. ne avrai un pacco), OCCUPANDO CON DUE DEVICES ENTRAMBI GLI SLOT USB 3.0.


(le colonne più interessanti sono state da me spostate per maggior chiarezza dalla posizione di default, mafari fallo anche te)

2) POI solo con due device connessi nelle due porte USB 3.0.

Nota che UNA SOLA delle mie porte USB 2.0 è impegnata, tutte le altre periferiche (2.0) sono in porte USB 3.1, che tanto sono compatibili.... ed il programma infatti le vede come USB 2.0.

Magari la tua scheda viene correttamente vista come 3.0 anche se è in uno slot 2.0... o magari è una ciofeca che in realtà NON E' 3.0... per la prova del nove ci vorrebbe una chiavetta 3.0 di sicura qualità inserita prima nello slot 3.0 e poi in uno slot 2.0.

NOTA che il programma consente di disabilitare / riabilitare le periferiche: magari prova, che alla riabilitazione succede qualcosa di mistico. ?

Devo ancora provare il software USB e fare dei test come si deve, ma ho provato il driver.

Non cambia nulla purtroppo. Penso a questo punto di acquistare una PCIE x USBC e un cavo USBC a VGA e risolvere in questo modo.
