ciao a tutti.
vorrei sapere quali sono i componenti "necessari" per lavorare decentemente.

questi i problemi principali:
- lentezza nel lavorare e nel salvare
- generici problemi di utilizzo (quote spostate nelle messe in tavola, errori vari che mi chiudono il programma)

lavoro con SW 11, alcuni client hanno XP altri 7 come SO.

in generale come mi direste di procedere?
tutti hanno connessioni 1 gbps funzionanti
 
Usate un DB per i progetti ed i vari componenti? Che server avete? Come è configurato? DB sql? E' recente come server? Che dischi monta? Che raid è? :)
 
- Usiamo il DB che si installa con l'installazione normale di SW. cioè ho un file di access in un certo percorso (IN LOCALE) in cui sono contenute informazioni sulla creazione dei fori e del toolbox.

- Per quanto riguarda la configurazione so che non ci ho accesso tramite tastiera fisica, ma solo in remoto, tramite il comando "mstsc" (c'entra qualcosa Hypervisor da quello che so)

- DB sql non so cosa sia

- non conosco l'età. penso 3 anni tutti

ce l'ho fisicamente nella stanza accanto la mia.
però accedendovi fisicamente posso unicamente spegnerlo (ho un'unica schermata che mi fa fare quello). allora prendo un client qualcunque e con mstsc (connessione desktop remoto) vi accedo in remoto (è da quello che prendo gli screenshot.
 
quello è un i5, il fatto che non riesco a capire come mai indichi dischi di Wmware ed ho intravisto una cartella Exchange. Dimmi il modello del server e che sistema operativo c'è su.

Grazie che vanno piano. Un preassemblato con un intel i3, i dischi sono dischi sata, spero in raid 1 con su esxi su cui gira una macchina virtuale (spero solo una).
Cmq non è un server è un pc normale.
Mi sa che dovete investire un 2000/3000 euro per un SERVER come si deve, poi ci buttate su la macchina virtuale che c'è su sto coso ;)
 
consigli su cosa comprare? inoltre penso sia un lavoro da informatico trasferire tutto l'ambaradam che c'è ora (e relative noie con gli altri PC). oppure è alla portata di uno che abbia tempo (e voglia) (cioè io)?

Server Hp Proliant. Poi devi installare ESXI, fare la migrazione delle Vm, li devi chiamare qualcuno se no fai danni ;). Cmq chiama qualche società specializzata e fanno tutto loro.
 
fai fare tutto a loro!!! Già con esxi (che è gratuito) non puoi usare il doppio processore.( tanto per dirne una, poi ci sono altre limitazioni).
Se ti si "f***te" la vm facendo la migrazione, sono caxxx amari, quindi lascia fare ai professionisti. Io che sono in grado, quando c'è da parlare di migrazione mi tremano le ginocchia...:sisi:
 
va bene, la parte di "opera" ho capito chi la deve fare. sulla parte hardware, ovvero sul materiale, come posso fare? se me lo procuro io suppongo di risparmiarci
