Problema mobo 775

Ciao a tutti... Mi è capitata tra le mani la scheda madre di un Acer, precisamente la MCP73VE, con sopra installato un Intel Core 2 Duo E7300. Ho cercato qualcosa riguardo questa scheda sul forum, ma nel mio caso si verifica un problema diverso: la scheda madre con la sola CPU installata emette un beep interminabile (praticamente fino a che non scollego l'alimentazione :asd:), se invece installo un banco di RAM in uno dei due slot non emette nessun suono. Premetto che le RAM che ho usato per farla partire sono funzionanti e che la CPU è stata provata anche su una ASUS P5K3 (ed è risultata funzionante). Posso considerare questa scheda madre morta? Allego le specifiche della mobo sotto spoiler.

Non ho capito qual'è il problema. (non fa il bip di accensione?)

@Mattdj No, installando un banco di RAM non fa il beep d'accensione e non si vede nulla sullo schermo. Senza RAM invece fa un beep lungo e continuo (e non si vede nulla comunque).

Ci può fornire qualche informazione in più? Controllato i pin della scheda se sono in buone condizioni? Sicuramente hai effettuato i vari clear cmos con batteria tampone , l'unica cosa che mi viene da pensare è che sia rotta o danneggiata , non è detto che se fa beep cosi vuol dire che in qualche maniera può ripartire

@Garth La scheda non ha né i pin del socket né gli altri slot sporchi o danneggiati, ho anche effettuato il clear CMOS.

Non ho risposto perché non ero in grado di farlo , comunque che scheda video utilizzi per provare il tutto? perché secondo i codici del bios di quella scheda madre "ami" un beep lungo come fa te può essere un problema di ram o gpu :sisi:

Ho provato anche con una scheda video PCI-Express (precisamente una GeForce 210)... Niente da fare. Ho trovato il manuale della scheda madre in questione (http://www.jwele.com/UserFiles/download/(JWT)nVIDIA MCP73 Series_Ver10.pdf) e sembra che il BIOS sia un Award e non un AMI... Stando alla guida dei beep del BIOS ne coincide uno:

- 1 beep lungo continuo: Problema alla memoria o alla scheda video


La scheda video "esterna" dovrebbe escludere l'integrata, quindi il problema è attribuibile alla RAM, ma le RAM funzionano... In definitiva potrebbe essere saltato il chipset ?

Dopo che hai montato la scheda video,hai fatto il CMOS con il ponticello?

Per togliermi il dubbio ho appena provato le RAM su un'altro computer, e funzionano... Pazienza, non mi resta che buttare la scheda. Vi ringrazio per l'aiuto ragazzi.
