Problema avvio Linux

Dopo aver formattato l'HD, cancellato Windows e reinstallato solo Linux ho riscontrato il seguente malfunzionamento :
all'accensione del PC, se l' Hard Disk esterno è staccato, il Sistema Operativo non si avvia.
Secondo me ho fatto qualche casino con grub in fase di installazione.
Vorrei capire come settarlo in maniera che possa avviare il S.O. dalla SSD del portatile.

Ciao. E si hai fatto casino con le partizioni all'avvio probabilmente piazzando il boot sul disco esterno. Ti consiglio una reinstallazione da 0 scollegando il disco esterno eliminando tutte le partizioni dal disco principale. Parti da spazio non allocato e fai fare all'installer.

E' sempre buona cosa, quando si fanno installazioni del SO, avere meno dischi/usb collegate al computer proprio per evitare questi problemi.
Reinstalla da zero che ci metti meno ^__^

L''hdd esterno è uno di quelli montati in /run/media/claudio? In tal caso ti basta commentare la sua voce in fstab. Poi sarebbe da capire se si blocca o se semplicemente va in attesa perché non trova il disco. In questo caso l'avvio può starci qualche minuto. Se i tre inseriti in fstab come /run/media/claudio sono tre partizioni di tale disco, l'avvio è ritardato di 1 minuto e mezzo per ogni partizione che non trova
