IBT fallisce ma Prime95/Orthos no perche?
IBT fallisce solo in modalita Maximuns Stress perche?
OCCT CPU:LINPACK : the stress test in terms of heat generation. it the best to detect heat-related errors, compared to CPU:OCCT and others. it will push your CPU to its limits. usually, it is not the best all-rounder test (CPU:OCCT is better most of the times), but if you do have a heat-related issue, this will be your test of choice. It also draws more power from your PSU than any other CPU test (OCCT's POWER SUPPLY test is a combination of CPU:LINPACK and GPU:3D)
CPU:LINPACK being also memory intensive, lower your memory frequency, up its voltage, or up its timings ( the higher the timing, the slower your memory will be, but that's for testing). Run CPU:LINPACK again[/COLOR]
Run the test again and remove any unneeded peripheral. if you've got a graphic card AND another which is integrated inside your Motherboard/CPU, remove the graphic card (it draws quite a bunch of power from the same lines than the one used by your CPU). If possible, use another power supply.
Finally, up the CPU voltage a notch in your BIOS, and run the test again. This will increase the heat generation, but your CPU will be more robust to errors... "LINPACK is a software library for performing numerical linear algebraon digital computers. It was written in Fortran by Jack Dongarra, Jim Bunch, Cleve Moler, and Gilbert Stewart, and was intended for use onsupercomputers in the 1970s and early 1980s.[1][2] It has been largely superseded by LAPACK, which runs more efficiently on modern architectures.
LINPACK makes use of the BLAS (Basic Linear Algebra Subprograms) libraries for performing basic vector and matrix operations.
The LINPACK benchmarks appeared initially as part of the LINPACK user's manual. LINPACK benchmark is used to benchmark and rank supercomputers for the TOP500 list.
