Grazie a tutti! Ho atteso ad annunciarlo, visto come è andata a finire l'altra volta, ma alla fine sono riuscita a prendere un Asus X542UN-GQ033T per me e un Dell Inspiron 5570 per mia sorella.
Ora, come devo muovermi?

Ho visto che preinstallate sull'Asus ci sono già molte cose, presumo per lo più inutili: quali devo togliere?
Ci sono accorgimenti da seguire, in entrambi i casi, per ripulirli e renderli ancora più efficienti?
Perché ad esempio leggevo nel post ufficiale di @nicola91 del ripulire il PC da bloatware: di cosa si tratta? Come devo fare?

Infine (per ora, temo ahaha), avrei un buono di 50€ da spendere su ePRICE, comprando un prodotto venduto e spedito da loro. Mi potreste quindi consigliare quale RAM comprare per l'Asus usando questo buono?

Allora, rimuovi McAfee intanto. Aggiorna Defender subito dopo e fai gli aggiornamenti BIOS (dall'app Asus apposita) e Windows. Imposta l'Asus splandid su normale e magari setta la protezione serale per gli occhi. Aggiorna dal pannello Nvidia i driver e tutta la suite mettendo la spunta su installazione pulita.
Per la RAM, io ho preso la ballistix sport 2400mhz x8 DDR4 4Gb, ma per sicurezza installa CPU-Z e dicci che RAM monti, oppure apri lo sportellino e mandaci una foto dell'etichetta.

Ovviamente sono un po' 'plasticosi', ma al contempo li trovo piacevoli, sia al tatto che esteticamente. Inoltre mi danno l'idea di essere solidi, soprattutto il Dell; quest'ultimo, però, sembra sporcarsi molto facilmente: la scocca esterna è già piena di ditate. In generale mi sembrano ben fatti, in poche parole, nonostante, appunto, la questione plastica, ecco.

Parlavi invece di fare degli update del BIOS: è possibile che non ce ne siano da fare, al momento? Perché ho fatto partire l'app che si chiama Asus Live Update, che ha detto che è già tutto aggiornato...
mentre per la scheda grafica gli aggiornamenti dovrebbero essere rilevati sempre da Asus Live Update oppure devo usare quella che si chiama GeForce Experience?

Altra cosa, hai notato grosse differenze fra lo schermo fullHD del dell e l'asus?

Un pochino sì: al di là della risoluzione, che nel Dell è più alta (sono 1900px contro i 1366px dell'Asus), il Dell mi sembra un po' più nitido e più antiriflesso. In generale, però, non trovo affatto male neanche lo schermo dell'Asus.

Per aggiornare Bios su Asus cerca il software Winflash che sarà già installato e da lì aggiorni,per quelli della nvidia usa geforce experience

Sul sito Dell porta "Tastiera, italiano (non retrolluminata)" forse le recensioni che hai visto parlano di qualche modello con layout diverso che avrà implementata la retroilluminazione
