PROBLEMA Non riesco ad installare alcun antivirus.

Buonasera,
non so se su questo forum bisogna accodarsi alle discussioni altrui o no quindi nel dubbio la pubblico lo stesso. Ringrazio anticipatamente chiunque voglia aiutarmi.
oggi volevo disinstallare Avast per mettere Bitdefender perché mi hanno detto sia migliore. Ho disinstallato Avast e fin qui tutto è ok ma quando ho fatto per installare Bitdefender mi dava una schermata dal sito della microsoft ufficiale che dice che devo aggiornare una cosa sp2 entro 5 giorni. Ho provato ma mi da impossibile farlo in Italiano e in inglese mi risulta che la lingua non è la stessa dell'update.
Allora, pensando che il problema fosse isolato, ho provato ad installare Avast di nuovo e non andava allora ho provato Avira e risultava lo stesso impossibile.
Ho letto che bisognava scaricare un certo Farbar e così ho fatto. Ora non so come si faccia ad allegare e riporto ciò che c'è scritto:

Ciao ti ringrazio per avermi risposto. Non ho capito cosa devo fare. Mi potresti mandare un link dove devo solo cliccare e scaricare? Non ci capisco molto di pc.
Un'altra cosa: perché hai scritto attenzione? Non è buono Bitdefender?

Aggiornamento: ho smanettato un po' e alla fine sono riuscito a capire quale fosse il problema. Mi ritrovo però con un sacco di Update package con il riquadro bianco e con la barra blu sopra. Che faccio li elimino?

se hai windows vista o 7 ti chiede comunque l'aggionamento.
Fai gli aggiornamenti: pulsante start, cerca: "aggiornamenti" o update

da quello che mi ricordo bitdefender dava qualche problema nella disinstallazione, o almeno in passato ti facevano scaricare il tool di disinstallazione dal sito, giusto per complicarti la vita e non fartelo disinstallare.
