Non Fare Il Bios Upgrade!!

Hello ,i have read some tips around this forum about p5gd1 issues ,but i sincerly say that i ever never had any kind of problem on my mobo got the 20/05/2005.
I have the prescott 3 ghz 530 revision d0 (ht) ,(2) sata raid0 maxtor150 dimondmax 120gb (240) ,ati gto2 dual vivo dvi 256 gddr3 core 480 unlocked to 16 pipelines out of the box ,(2) v-data pc 3200 dublesisded .
1st )Questions :once i got the mobo the bios was the 1007 rev
cpu to 3.6 ghz from 3.0
fsb to 916 mhz (the max i guess for the intel 915p chipset i guess)
memory timings to 2-2-4-4
It was the overclock profile 20% everything on auto except :timings and pcexpress peg,latecy,root
THE SYSTEM HAS NEVER EVER HAD ANY KIND OF PROBLEM !
system temp on 35 c° cpu temp 34° while i'm writing
Now :i've upgraded to the bios 1014 rev and everything run good but i'm not able to get higher frequency on the cpu than 3.3 bus 880 mhz timings 2,5 5 5 15

I've have tried to run back to the old bios of course but via win (32) is not possible neither via dos afudos.exe (the bat file runs perfectly but won't install the old bios at the end of the process).
Has anybody ideas how to install the old bios in "safe way"?
2nd) Question: i've installed the 3dmark2005 (due to the 2 rev compilance compability on the gto2 for gaming software SHADER,VERTEX ETC..) do anybody knows why the 3dm is so high 6980 (the gto2 runs at 552/1280) [it was 13000 on 3dmark03]and the cpu ratings is so poor 545 [it was 145 on 3dmark03 cpu score]
i'm going crazy due to sombody with the same system configuration same total score than mine but on cpu score it has a ten times more rated than my cpu ,but it is the same cpu,mobo,memory,vga ??????Ma be due to the old bios ??
Any suggestions ??
Last )Question :has anybody tried to make an ahci setup on sata maxtor dimondmax plus disks instead of the raid configuration ,what kin of benefit come from the ahci and does anybody know ho to make it from a sata raid 0 allready configured xp,programs bla bla bla ..?
