LG Oled funzione "Pixel Refresher" Help

Ciao,
Vorrei acquistare un LG B9 65,sarebbe il mio primo tv OLED e per quanto abbia letto per ore in rete in merito all'argomento legato al burn in e ritenzione dell'immagine ho un dubbio su questa funzione che nei modelli LG si attiva automaticamente ogni 4 ore di visione (non necessariamente consecutive).
Serve a prevenire il problema e questo mi è chiaro,ma in chat con operatori LG mi dicono che dura un'ora ogni volta nel momento in cui spengo la tv(al raggiungimento appunto delle 4 ore).In rete leggendo avevo capito che un'ora durava solo quella che viene lanciata ogni 2000 ore o manualmente se si riscontrano problemi,mentre quella "serale" di pochi minuti 5/10..
Spero che qualcuno di voi possa aiutarmi a capire questo funzionamento,per quanto non discuta la qualità di questi pannelli,avere un tv che quasi ogni sera si "riaccende" da solo per ben un'ora mi sembra una cosa "poco pratica" al mio utilizzo..:boh:

Ho letto di quel test e tra l'altro cita proprio un riferimento a questa funzione..ma su un altro sito ho letto "LG ha abilitato questa funzione da circa un anno.." riferendosi appunto alle 4 ore ecc,pertanto il dubbio mi è sorto che nei modelli 2019 abbiano abilitato qualcosa di differente nativamente o tramite agg firmware..tu hai un LG?premetto che la tua risposta non fa una piega ed è anche la più sensata..il dubbio me l'hanno messo proprio due operatori chat LG non più tardi di un'ora fa nella quale insistevano a ribadire che durava un'ora e non minuti..questo mi ha confuso,di mio se no sarei andato liscio

Ma infatti da un certo punto di vista hanno ragione, quello manuale dura fino ad un' ora.

" There are two anti-image retention systems incorporated into LG OLED TVs, the short-term Pixel Refresher and the long-term Pixel Refresher.


The short-term Pixel Refresher automatically starts operating when the user turns off the TV, after viewing for more than four hours in total (in one session or across several). For example, if a user watched TV for two hours yesterday and three hours today (total of five hours), the Pixel Refresher would automatically run for 10 minutes when the TV is next switched off. The user won’t even be aware it’s in operation. If the TV is switched on before the 10-minute operation is complete, the short-term Pixel Refresher will attempt to run the next time the TV is turned off.


The long-term Pixel Refresher operates when the TV reaches an accumulated viewing time of more than 2,000 hours. At this point, when the user switches the TV off, a notification appears informing them that the Pixel Refresher will start. This operation runs for an hour while the TV is off. A white horizontal line displays onscreen when the process is almost finished. If users turn on the TV before the 1-hour operation has concluded, the TV will show a message that the Pixel Refresher has not been completed. This notification will display each time the TV is turned off, until the Pixel Refresher has run its full course. Additionally, users can manually activate the Pixel Refresher via the TV’s menu whenever they choose. However, it is not necessary for them to do so as LG OLED TV automatically runs the long-term Pixel Refresher each time 2,000 hours of viewing is reached.”


Ovviamente quello automatico non può durare un' ora ogni 4, non ha senso.

Sembra il manuale,infatti mi hai dato l'idea e l'ho scaricato dal sito e anche qui dice

Nel caso si guardi il televisore per più di quattro ore consecutive,
Pixel Refresher sarà attivato automaticamente alcuni minuti dopo
lo spegnimento del televisore. (Nota: la funzione Pixel Refresher
non viene attivata se il cavo di alimentazione del TV non è collegato
o l’alimentazione principale è spenta.)
