help per scheda asus p4p800-f

chi mi può gentilmente aiutare a trovare i settaggi migliori per il bios della scheda madre asus p4p800-f :D ??? premetto che ho assemblato il tutto da sola!!! a parte che è lento rispetto a quello che avevo prima e poi non mi rileva il bus giusto della ram, è un discorso di settaggi oppure mi hanno fregata :muro: ??? eppure nella ram la scritta è giusta!!! la marca (Vdata) ne ho 2 da 256mb con bus a 400 ed inserite nel modo da sfruttare il dual channel ma all'accensione mi dice che sono a 333 :boh: .... il processore è un pentium 4 a 2.4 giga con bus a 533 qualcuno sarebbe così gentile da potermi dire i giusti parametri da inserire per poter sfruttare tutta la velocità della ram e del bios :ueue: ?? oppure indirizzarmi al topic dove magari è già stato postato???

sei stato velocissimo!!! grazie mille intanto studierò quei parametri ma rimane comunque il problema che non sò come poter cambiare il bus delle ram...

Mo ti spiego l'arcano..... :)
il tuo procio è un Northwood B, ha il FSB che funziona a 133 (533 Quad Pumped) a differenza dei Northwood C che ce l'hanno a 200 (800 Quad Pumped)...quindi probabilmente il bios imposta la freq della RAM a 166 (333 in DDR) con dei divisori...ecco perchè rispetto a prima ti sembra lento....cmq per conferma utilizza il validissimo prog cpuz e guarda nelle facciate relative a procio e ram che valori ti trovi...magari postacele che ci diamo un'occhiata...

non riuscirai a mandare le DDR a 400, come penso che hai dato che ho letto un po di fuga il post.

io ho una asus serie p4p800-e deluxe e cosi a capa non mi sembra diversa dalla tua per cui:

l'unico sistema per sfruttarle è l'acquisto di una cpu con bus 800. dato che la mobo, come è scritto nel manuale, dice che a fsb 133 puoi attivare le ddr 266/333,
io prima tenevo un celeron con bus 400 e le ddr anche essendo tutte 333 le sfruttavo a 266, e solo overcloccandolo con bus 533 mi si sbloccava le 333.

mi sembra strano che oò sistema sia lento, dato che sfrutti di già il dual channel e si dovrebbe notare ad occhio la spinta che lui ti ofre e sopratutto a differenza della vecchia mobo che montavi.

sicuramente tale lentezza è data dal fatto che forse usi ancora l'xp che montavi prima, e magari con gli aggiornamenti dei driver della nuova mobo qualcosa non ha funzionato, ne so qualcosa io che utilizzavo lo stesso SO dopo aver installato il prescotto e onestamente con la reinstallazione di XP è tutto migliorato.
comunque prima cosa ti consiglio di installare i driver aggiornati della intel per il tuo chip da sito madre www.intel.com e sicuramente dovresti vedere dei miglioramenti.
