Buongiorno a tutti, poco tempo fa ho acquistato un Router Cisco 867VAE-K9, ma l'unica cosa che ancora non riesco a farlo uscire in internet...anzi secondo lui è connesso, difatti acquisisce un ip pubblico dalla telecom, ma non navigo. Ho settato tramite Cisco Configuration Professional...

Nella parte DNS ho inserito sia quelli di Google che di telecom, ma niente.

Vi posto il comando show ip interface:

prova a pingare (ping esteso) dalla interfaccia atm un indirizzo pubblico dalla console telnet, giusto per vedere se l'interfaccia atm è up (dice di si e con 79.23.xxx.xxx/32) e magari devi configurare il nat e le acl...mandami uno show run in pvt omettendo le passwords, (anche se hai abilitato il serv passw-enc, come spiegato prima, decifrare le password è semplice, e nello show run risiedono le password)
nel comando "show ip int" aggiungi brief alla fine, basta il sommario generico :-)

la usavo su un 1841 a casa (ora non lo potrei provare con vdsl) con adsl2 a 20mbit con ios 15.1 ma funzionerà anche nel tuo piu recente:

interface FastEthernet0/1 (fai attenzione alla numerazione)
ip address xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 255.255.255.0 (questa è la porta interna, quindi classi 192.168 o 172.16)
ip access-group xxx in (poi spiego xxx)
ip nat inside
ip virtual-reassembly in
duplex auto
speed auto

poi configuri l'interfaccia atmx/x/x con la numerazione che ti mostra il comando sho ip int brief, nel mio caso era atm0/0/0 in quanto wic, da te nativa sarà a 2 cifre

interface ATM0/0/0 (vedi sopra)
no ip address
no atm ilmi-keepalive
dsl operating-mode adsl2+ (qui dipende dalla tua linea, sceglierai col tab come spiegato in pvt)

Grazie mille! Domani appena posso ti mando tutto...io in primis ho provato a configurare la connessione tramite il ccp, in realtà il modem vedo anche fisicamente che si connette a telecom (led fissi) ma continuo a non navigare, evidentemente come hai detto tu devo configurare la nat, ti mando lo show run appena posso...però una cosa non mi è chiara, che significa:

E un'altra stranezza, di default questo router esce con la configurazione 10.10.10.1 con subnet 255.255.255.248 ... ho provato in 1000 modi a modificare l'ip a 192.168.1.1/24 ma con vani risultati, ne da ccp e ne da ssh... sono riuscito solamente a mettere la subnet a 24 (255.255.255.0). in realtà mi va bene anche così, alla fine cambio gli ip ai miei apparati e vaffansiena. Però volevo capire come mai non mi fa cambiare l'ip...l'unica prova che non ho fatto è dargli un altro IP, tipo 172.16.x.x eccetera...

Assolutamente, messo aliceadsl sia come user che come password e ho flaggato su PAP e CHAP come autenticazione... In che senso se è la prima volta che mi connetto con l'adsl ? Attualmente sto usando un modem linksys che sarà rimpiazzato da questo Cisco (operatività permettendo)...ma la mia linea adsl lavora da 12 anni :)

Credevo fosse una nuova linea. Hai provato sia in ethernet e in wifi?
Puoi pingare verso 192.168.100.1 ?

Credo che tu non conosca questo router...ti spiego, attualmente è 'fine a se stesso' volendo questo router si può programmare in due modi: in SSH tramite la porta console, oppure tramite cavo di rete con il Cisco Configuration Professional. Comunque no, ho provato con l'ethernet e non va ( il wi-fi non ce l'ha)
